Thank you Mr. DrZhark for making this AMAZING mod! except I can't hear any of the creatures, and I installed it with TFC, can anyone help me with that?
A quick question guys, I first installed the mod at v2.9.1, things worked fine except for the fish despawn and riding, but after updating modloader I couldn't find any water mods except squids, was hoping that v2.9.4 would fix this but it hasn't suggestions or corrections plz I want to find fish and dolphins again specially since a bear killed my other dolphins. Also if any one can could you tell me what I did to cause this (Sure its on my end as it didn't happen right away).
BTW excellent mod Dr.Zhark, this + more ore + more trees equals whole new world.
Suggested mob: iguana (Or any other type of lizard, just for fun really, or a pet like birds), maybe gorillas, semi hostile like boars, idk just though I'd throw our an idea or 2, feel free to ignore or shut the idea down.
Cheers
The only problem i have actually noticed has been dolphins spawning in small spaces. For some reason they were spawning in 3 of my 1x6 waterways for my wheat farm. Needless to say the dolphins were put down immediately after destroying my wheat. BAD DOLPHIN! :dry.gif: Also. I'm looking forward to the new update. More creatures!
I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong topic, but TFC Mod Manager doesn't work so well, and I install it manually, but I can't because modloader crashes it, and my minecraft version is 1.5_01 any help?
EDIT : I'm having a hard time doing it, is it possible to make it more simpler? like copy and paste? that would be awesome!

Hey i have a big problem so:
Every time i want to open World options thing minecraft crashs and there no more creatures so i must go to this options right?
For me Minecraft crashes randomly at the moment, around every 2-3 hours.. The mod is correctly installed.
What happens is that the window goes completely black and I get some kind of Java error (Java(TM) Platform SE binary is not responding. )
But what REALLY sucks about this is that 2 hours ago I found a Pegasus.. And of course while standing next to the Pegasus
some time later the game bugs. When I log back in everything I've done since I last save has been undone, but the materials are still gone from my inventory, plus the pegasus has despawned. The strange part was that my other mount back in the base was still there.
I feel lucky and unlucky at the same time..
And I thought I'd mention that just before the game crashed I found a Unicorn...
EDIT: Found the solution to my problem. It's not the best one, but it'll do for now. Simply change the view distance to normal instead of far so that the game doesn't "overheat".
WHY DID U MAKE WOLVES ATTACK UR PERSON!?!?!?!?
THAT IS SO TYPICAL OF EVERY1, HATIN ON WOLVES!!!!
WOLVES DONT ALWAYS ATTACK PEOPLE U KNOW!!!
THEY ARE ACTUALLY NICE SO PLEASE MAKE THEM NICE!!!!
But other than that the mod is absolute EPIC SAUCE!!!
Keep up the good work :cool.gif:
and PLEASE take my tip into consideration.
I got a problem I am trying to install single player commands and mo creature but they both have patch notes and I cant find how to put them together so both mods works do anyone know how to do this so I can put them both in?
I think people would prefer the regular tameable wolves (not exactly realistic)
but i think its better than red eyed wolves hoarding the landscape with nothing to do in the day but to attack the damn player wolves
i found this on a site
Wolves do not attack people most of the time, as they keep a distance from man folk unless they have really no alternate but to attack. Wolves are actually used to feed on the left-overs of the kills by the other animals like tigers and lions, therefore do not go for hunting bigger targets.
They may however attack, when in group and out for hunting for food, in case they do not find any leftovers.
And wolves are not dumb and go rabid on the player
the wolves in the pack are like
I would enjoy blowing up your creations with
off topic line above^
Oh and where is the proof of people finding it annoying
*silence* no one does! unless they would be stiff and proud and say that
Also i know notches are not realistic
if they want to compete
-REMOVE RED EYE
-Attack for valid reasons(i.e:Getting Cornered)
-Change skin of wolf for each spawn
-Able to tame(Wolves are partially able to tame in real life but still attack people)
-Kill mobs(now i dont think i ever seen one kill? now correct me if im wrong)
-Not to growl for no reason(Your somewhere near it it growls for some reason its called they also do a thing called howling and barking)
-Better skin(only for HD Textures)
And more!
*UPDATE:I changed the FILTHY! eye colour to a realistic colour
Thanks for using better capitalization; it really is easier on the eyes.
Having grown up in the Rocky Mountains, I've been around wild wolves my entire life. The growling of a wolf sounds much different from a dog, much deeper and throatier (I think I just invented a word?), like what you hear in Mo' Creatures wolf sounds. I know it's not realistic for wolves to attack players on sight (seeing as wolves learned a long time ago that humans tend to have nasty surprises up their sleeves and don't provide enough good meat to be worth the effort), but neither are zombies. :biggrin.gif:
As to wolves only being scavengers feeding on the leftovers of lion and tiger kills, there are two problems with that assertion:
1. Most wolves do not live in the same ecosystems as lions and tigers anymore, thanks to mankind wiping them out in those regions.
2. Wolves are pack hunters who are more than capable of bringing down their own prey. However, you are partially correct that they are opportunistic and possess the immune systems to eat carrion when it is available. Sadly, in Minecraft, dead mobs only last a few seconds unless there is server lag in SMP.
I do agree that the red eyes are annoying. Still, in a world with zombies, creepers, and ogres, evil wolves like Tolkien's wargs aren't hard to imagine to be fitting the bill.
If the wild wolf mesh/texture/sounds from this pack were used with wild Notch wolves, I might like them a little more. :biggrin.gif:
Edit: Oh, and yes, both Notch wolves and DrZhark wolves attack other animals on a regular basis. You probably just never noticed because wild wolves only spawn at night and animals only spawn in the daytime, giving less opportunities for interaction.

you don't need the patch notes, so there's no use trying to "merge" them. just delete them

I think your caps lock button got stuck there for a second.
Hi, it would be really cool if you could add an elephant to the game.... and you could ride them/tame them, there should also be a Giraffe, that you could also ride/tame. Also, you should add BigFoot. :laugh.gif: :cool.gif:
I downloaded the mod like in the video for mac, but everytime i destroy a block or kill something my game crashes. I don't Know what i'm doing wrong and i need help.

Maybe you did install it wrong

I think your caps lock button got stuck there for a second.
It starts off slow and gets faster slowly before hitting it's peak.
It's driving me crazy.
I had Optimine, and tried removing it, but it didn't help.
