UPDATE AFTER LONG TIME: I have not updated this thread in a VERY long time, but i am pleased to announce that i am remaking my first map [The Lost Mines] into a new 5 intersection map called The Lost Mines II. It will use several of the new features added since 1.1 (when the map itself was made)
ok, on to the maps: (remember, these are VERY outdated)
This is currently being updated into a new map itself. I do use a lot of the area names in it, but some areas are completely new. The new map will be 5 intersections with 1 other final area. This remake will be VERY long, and will be very challenging.
I understand, I just started making CTM Maps. But for the caves in the screenshots, you should try to hide the fact you use brush tools, cause perfect spheres never happen in real minecraft.

yah, i know, im not really picky on how my maps look, and im to lazy to fix things like that...
EDIT: Ignore this post, this is me and my idioticness nearly 2 years ago
I'm really digging this map so far. I've come to intersection 4 and need to go back to finish out one of the previous intersections at the moment. Though, seeing what you did there with the light grey wool, maybe there are more that have been missed.
I like the ways that the areas are laid out - each is pretty well defined and distinct. Some can be attacked with brute force while others need a slow and methodical approach. Favorite so far has to be the cobweb cave and I also like the structure of the ...uh...can't remember what it was called... place where the red wool is.
Saw a couple minor bugs if you want to call it that - sign with a grammar error (their, they're, there)...random sticky piston under the floor not connected to anything...1 random silverfish block. But nothing game-breaking. Anyway, that's some early impressions. Hope to finish it up sometime this week - cheers!

There are a few areas with more than 1 wool chest. silverfish blocks, i remember placing a few... the sticky piston was a failed trap design, i guess i forgot to remove it. and my grammar, i do not know... well, im glad you like the map!
Fixed problem where the pink blue and purple wools wouldn't be in their chests
Oh good, then I didn't miss anything. I've filled these 3 slots in with TNT . Again, a very nice map overall - I had a good time playing through it. Resources were nicely distributed at the proper times. Supply boxes were plentiful and contained a variety of items. I'll definitely check out your future maps as well when they are posted. Thanks again!
ah it looks good but one of the things that make vechs super hostile maps good and that evryone that tryes to remake them dosnt do right is that vech kinda hides the fact that he used a brush tool and made it look natural through a mix of ingame building and mcedit. try to do less massive brush strokes and more small changes twards a big change

i don't remake vechz maps, i make my own from my own ideas, all because its a CTM doesn't mean im copying vechz maps AND im making a NEW map that hopefully looks better and remake this one.
And just saying: i like caves. and it took 2 months to make this map.
