is there any way to improve the torches? becuase it's really annoying when you're trying to see by torchlight and it barely illuminates anything...
really bugs me, considering how AMAZING this mod is.
on the ONE hand, making it so torches worked just like the sun would REALLY screw up FPS,
on the other hand, if you made it so it calculated the torches field of light with a regular light update, and ignore mob shadows, and gave it priority over the sun/moon shadows, you could see easier... it shouldn't be TO graphically intensive, after the initial calculation.
regardless, awesome mod, makes minecraft look beautiful.
i recently downloaded the "recipe book" mod so i would have some clue of what i need to use in game to build all of the "wonderful" machines from industrialcraft 1.8.1 . however, it only appears to give me roughly 50 extra blank pages after the regular crafting recipies+ the recipe for the recipe book.
isn't this mod supposed to be able to show you stuff from other mods?
i have no mods other than industrial craft 2 and it's prerequisites, and spawner GUI.
might i suggest,
frozen, (will have red ice, will turn into blood/lava when broken/melted)
normal,
floating islands
also, for hte dungeons, why not make them into houses/ villages for zombie pig man/ tribals?
There won't be any "frozen" or ice biomes in the Nether, since it's made of lava and fire. There will be other things like Soul Biomes, Fire Biomes, etc.
I like the idea for changing the dungeon code to create a different thing like a house. I'll consider that.

what if i want to destroy the bridge, but not have to use tnt each time?
so i thought up the following:
= redstone torch
= fresh stone pickaxe (or iron)
what it would do is, when activated with red stone, it would remove blocks above it, within a 16 block range.
