1. You look at a wiring diagram in electronics class and wonder why they don't just use redstone torches to power it.
2. You think that it's both POSSIBLE to make things out of diamond, AND that diamond is stronger than steel. And you suggest using diamond to your co-workers when designing something.
3. You look at loggers cutting down trees on TV and immediately think that they're using the Timber mod. Because of course trees just don't fall down like that.
4. You see awesome buildings/houses, and you immediately start thinking of how many blocks wide the windows/rooms are. And how much clay you would need to dig up to make that brick facade.
5. You are convinced that water comes from source blocks, and are bewildered when puddles evaporate.
6. You roam your neighborhood looking for openings to caves.

MustanGrande posted a message on We were all noobs once. What is your minecraft noob story? On my first world, I saw a gravel pit with an arch over it, and thought that arch would make a good spot for a base. "Hey! High ground!" I ended up with creepers outside my main shelter, with no way to dig out an emergency exit, due to having a pit full of creepers beneath my house. I finally made it out when a spider jumped into my little fort, off of a nearby cliff, and killed me, sending me back to spawn, and allowing me to lure the explosive congregation away from anything important.Posted in: Survival Mode
I learned that high ground wasn't as important as easily-securable ground. My subsequent war with that overlooking mountain is another story entirely. Very poor locational choice.
saved the pic.

See, i had just updated minecraft to 1.5 (achievement update i believe) and i decided to get the "acquire hardware" achievement, which doesn't seem too hard, does it really? Well, i was wandering around, and saw a cave with a little bit of iron! i immediately ran over to it and realised i had no pickaxe. "Meh," i thought."i'll just make one quickly." BIG MISTAKE. I hear twang and see 2 hearts leave my health bar and turn around to see an angry skeleton shooting at me. i attempted to run but i was too slow and i died. When i respawned i forgot about the iron achievement, killed the skeleton and walked off. Now whenever i see iron and a skeleton together it reminds me of my bad first experience with achievements. So i guess i try to forget.

but in a business-like manner, add some zombies...they would just make the whole thing better. plus they are alto singers! :smile.gif: (VERY alto...)
