To be honest the only hat I personally wanted ported was the War Pig. From there I literally just chose some random hats that I knew I could make well enough.
B.M.O.C., Bills Hat (although I'll pretty much just be a plain box practically), and Holiday headcase I can definitely do. Hat of Undeniable Wealth and Respect... I don't know if I can do that one as I hardly have room (a cube with each side having 8x8 pixels in size) for detail. Max's Severed Head would end up looking ridiculous too because of model limitations.
If such a thing exists, and if Ziddia is ok with the suggestion because he's the one coding to begin with, maybe there's a program or method that allows one to easily create models for minecraft and to easily texture those models that someone can point out to us.
There's probably a way to remove model restrictions on hats, but I don't know myself; I'll look into it.
Yeah. I opened a Halloween crate and got a random hat (goo hat) and it when I wore it it was a white box.

You need to make Tux's like slender tux, blue tux, wedding tux, awesome things like that! Make top hats, cowboy hats, jerseys, shirts, pants, that all would be epic. Clothes in Minecraft.. I would download that mod without any pictures. It's epic you deserve some 's because that's EPIC. Make tuxes all kinds of them! make enchanted tuxes, glowing tuxes, epic sneaks, boots, pimp hats, fur coats. Dude this mod is gonna go FAR. You sir, are a bau5 to the fullest extend and this mod is awesome idc what anybody says you're a pure champ.

An update to Hat Fortress 2 has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you install it. The major changes include:
Added roughly 20 new craft hats (seriously this was easily 600 lines appreciate it, list will be below)
Updated the Halloween Crate #11 (you can now unbox halloween unusuals from it, along with the werewolf costume pieces and any available craft hat.
Added 3 new unusual effects
Added Unusual versions of (most) new craft hats
Made the Halloween crate exclusively droppable (this means crates 1 - 9 will not drop while the event's on. Salvaged 10 will, though).

Awesome to hear of the progress. But it's understandable that it's taking awhile. Wouldn't be surprised if you had to rewrite the main parts of the code to allow it to work with forge. Plus then after it has to be updated to 1.4.2 (doesn't help that 1.4.4 is coming out soon).

Ziddia is now updating his mod to forge. This means that he basically needs to rewrite his mod, so do not expect an update coming up too soon.

Good news is, I eventually scrapped Forge and wrote my own ModLoader-compatible server-side stuff, based off of MLMP. Essentially, I'm gonna maintain that as best as I can. The best part about this is that I can stop wasting time on MLMP's restrictions and implement the hooks I need myself.
The bad news is that it won't be Forge-compatible for a while; Forge has a multitude of difficulties in what I need for this to function right.

I have not looked on your page for some time nos, so I guessed I should see how things are going. I see that you are working very hard on updating this amazing mod of yours. You keep finding more bugs and glitches which delay you in the process, but I am curious, what do you plan to implement in the future (long term vs. short term)? What new crates and hats do you plan to add? What other items/blocks will you include? As minecraft updated today, what delays are you expecting? The People, myself included, are getting restless Ziddia.

I still stubbornly think that you should add the confetti hat. I have seen mods using particle effects, and this one is quite popular. I have yet to see something that Ziddia cannot accomplish.

Confetti was a little beyond me previously, however, basing it off of TF2's confetti effect, I think I found a solution (maybe).
I know this wasn't directed towards me, but I believe he's more waiting more on people to give him hat submissions to add and creating crate that'll have the chance to add unusual version of said submissions.
I myself gave him six different hats that he said he plans on adding in this update.
