"Parse error" usually means you edited the Redpower config file with Notepad, which screws it up. Delete the config file, try again, and if you need to edit, use Wordpad (or almost any text editor that isn't Notepad, really).
How would a 3-input xor gate even work? They are supposed to be used with only two, so adding the third i'm wondering what you want to happen. Maybe just hook up some xor gates together?
In a 3-input xor gate, the gate gives an on signal if either 1 or 3 of the inputs are on.
It's easy to build with 2-input xor gates, though. If memory serves, you just have to do (x XOR y) XOR (x XOR z). In other words, make two XOR gates (with one of your three inputs going to both of them) and then send both outputs to a third XOR gate. Might be wrong, but it looks right on paper.
Also, you'll have to push 'u' while you're in your inventory to make the Item Subsets button appear. And you may need to scroll the mouse wheel down while you're hovering over "redpower" to see the Microblocks.
Ok.
I know.
I'm a noob and many of you will say or think like that in a moment... XD
But after reading some pages of this GIGANTIC topic i still dont know some things. What it exactly is?? something like buildcraft and computercraft in one?? or just a mod for buildcraft?? Can it be run with industrialcraft??
Redpower is a completely separate mod from IndustrialCraft and BuildCraft. It can be run at the same time as them, however, and many of Redpower's machines are intercompatible with IC's and BC's machines.
Though a few of the things in it are similar to things in IC and BC, there's a ton of features in RP that aren't in either of those, like redwires and logic gates. A large part of redpower is focused on making redstone creations much more time- and space-efficient, though there's certainly other things in it.
IDK if this is your mod issue or me having many mods installed making this happen but on my server when I try to make any red power blocks I get disconnected with an error and when I try to make a lamp block I get a solar panel. I checked the id's they where the same as the servers. Any Idea whats going on?
I have these mods installed.
1. Modloader
2. Forge
3. Redpower
4. buildcraft
5. Equivalent exchange
I don't think its the other mods conflicting .
Client/Server ID mismatch. Check the config files for the client and server and make sure all the block (and item) IDs match up.
i run into an out of bound exception, which because there is an ID above 255. that i know. the thing i have trouble with is, i can not tell what mod is doing that. can someone take a look to my loader txt file and tell me which one it refers too.
Mods will only try to assign a block to an ID above 255 if all the valid IDs are already taken, so I'm guessing you have too many mods installed and you ran out of IDs. You'd have to pick a mod you don't like as much as the rest (preferably one that adds a lot of blocks) and stop using it.
It might be an array that doesn't have to do with block IDs, though. Lemme check something.
EDIT: Well, my line numbers in Modloader.java are different than yours for some reason (maybe mine's out of date), but it looks like it's probably a block ID issue.

Actually, no, she posted a picture of a wind turbine on her twitter last week.

There's currently an unused item sprite in the redpower files for a plasma rifle, so I don't think being in the wrong time era context is an issue.
And yeah, if you want guns, just use Flan's gun mods.

Here's a list of the things in it.

EDIT: Nevermind, read that as "block update detector" instead of "block sensor" for some reason.
On a completely unrelated note, I can't wait for adventure maps that use redpower frames/control to start popping up.

Volcanoes aren't a biome, I'm pretty sure. Sorry, just being nitpicky.
Yeah, just go to places you haven't been to yet for the ores. Won't cause any errors.

18.
2 in Core, 3 in Control, 1 in Logic, 2 in Lighting, 3 in Machine, and 7 in World.
EDIT: Wait, hold on.
That's odd, the config file doesn't seem to have configurable block IDs for the Wiring module. Weird.

An Athame is a sort of ritual dagger. What's that got to do with chemical experiments?

That's almost certainly intentional. I assume it was easier to do that than keep the regular chest block while it was moving for whatever reason.
