All i remember is a sheep near a tree looking at me....

    /thread

The earliest memories I have are
    A. Watching my mom play Warcraft II
    B. Playing Turok with my dad
    C. My brother teaching me how to read

These were all when I was three, but I don't remember which came first. Probably C, B, A.

    That's very selfish, you know.

If you like Fallout, try the STALKER series. I never got into it, but that's just because it's not my style. Nevertheless, it's a kickass series.
I think they're on sale on Steam right now, but today is the last day.

    http://store.steampowered.com/sub/5011/

Shadow of Chernobyl is the more acclaimed title, but you can get it bundled with Call of Pripyat for just $8.74, so it's a pretty good deal.
Clear Skies is nothing compared to the others, by the way.

    I don't like it. I think it's a terrible idea.
First of all, I love Final Fantasy I - VIII, so don't go ahead and assume I just don't like the game play mechanic.
The problem is, some things belong in some games, others don't.
A turn-based battle system does NOT belong in Minecraft. Minecraft is a game about quick thinking and creativity. Expect Scrolls to be more like what you're looking for.

Sweet. Mouse code machine. Sounds cool. The signs show which letters the buttons are hooked up to?

Bingo. I was originally going to just make a simple machine that did dots and dashes, but I was annoyed with the push delay buttons had, so I just made a machine that would do it automatically.

I have to agree with Cruxsky after reading this post, actually. This isn't doesn't seem like a simple request, it's just plain begging.

Morse Code. "Clicks" from glass represent dots. The wool are dashes.
    Yep.
I'll use an MCEdit schematic, actually, because I'm using a map I don't have permission to give away.
I'll post the video and the schematic on Sunday.

    Multi-frequency signaling? Like a dual-tone phone.

    You both are unbearably close.
    Here is the biggest hint:

:White: :White: :White: :White: :White: :Glass: :White: :Glass: :Glass: :Glass: :Glass: :Glass:

:White: :Glass: :White: :Glass: :White: :White: :White: :White: :Glass: :Glass: :Glass:

It's only glass and wool for a reason.

Oh, also, this may seem pretty easy for a lot of you, but this is the first "useful" redstone device I have ever made, and it was quite difficult to figure out how to lay out the wiring at first.

Okay. If it has the buttons in the center square then that must be the input.

    Correct.

There appear to be signs in there. I was thinking it could be a music matching game? Or... A combination lock?

Neither, although there are in fact signs. There are also two rows of buttons parallel to the signs. One below, and one above.

Nope, it is not for music at all. I'll give you another three hints, though.
    1. It has 8 buttons on the west wall, 6 buttons on the north wall, 8 buttons on the east wall, and 4 buttons on the south wall.
    2. Each repeater you see whose path is parallel to a note-block's path is set to a delay of two ticks, or the third setting.
    3. Some note-blocks are on wool, and others on glass.

    Off-topic:
Funny. 17 hours and 15 minutes. Only 45 minutes off.
