Rules are simple, be respectful and have fun. The goal of the server is to thrive and do what you want. I want to have more servers like this in the future and I am praying everything will works.

So this seems to be an information issue with Name.com. When managing the DNS some info is not correct. I have contacted them and I am waiting for a response. I have been trying to figure it out on my own but I am simply not sure what is incorrect.
I own the computer it is running on so I have everything I need. I will continue to try yo fix this because I want this to work and have with the server too.
Again thanks for telling me. When I get an email from them I will work to ensure the Server is open.
Hi I have a new survival server and a separate computer to host it for others. I have my domain name so I do not have to give out my IP address. But I am confused on what to put in the SRV records for the domain name. Most advice says to go to the server provider for the info however I am the server provider lol. Please I would like to have people connect.
Welcome to Border Islands! I will keep it up as much as possible. That being said it is a 1.8.9 Survival island Map! so enjoy! build, see what you can do. The only rule is to be respectful or else I simply ban.
I will also be on the forums more regularly if you need to contact me or if you have suggestions. I am the only one in charge at the moment and life comes first of course.

So I made a few changes and I think it should be up and running correctly. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
I did change it to minecraftborderislands.com and I edited my first post to reflect that. Should you have any more issues connecting please tell me.
