Yes, as I said, it's still WIP. Actually, half of the tiles are still bucket-fill, I just got it to show the most developed ones.
And what's my 'ancient way of texturing?'
Meapers— I really like that sandstone, most especially the carved. The normal sandstone at the bottom is good too, perhaps it could benefit from some random CTM? The smooth stone brick, while above average, seems a bit... amateurish. I'm not sure how to pin it down exactly, but it just seems like maybe you didn't spend quite enough time on it? I think it could be greatly improved just by being "worked out" a bit more, if you know what I mean.
And now for a brick problem of my own. I have, in an attempt to improve upon my ghastly (not an exaggeration, unfortunately) previous brick texture, created a newer, brighter, cleaner and more saturated version.
Something's bothering me about it, though. I'm not sure how to improve it. I'm going for a "sharp" look, (no rounded corners, fairly flat faces) with all of the bricks on the same level. (Non sunk back.)
Here's the actual texture, tiled 4x4:
Unfortunately, it seems to be one of those textures that looks better as an image than in-game.
Everything is looking great. Hopefully CTM for that ice? (That's not going to looks so pretty in the world...) The saplings are really well done, the vines are a nice touch.
But those stone bricks.
I'm not just saying this; those are probably the best stone bricks I've ever seen. I mean, they're really good. I could just stare at them for hours. They're so perfectly colored, they have the right amount of texture and shading, and everything. Good job.
I like all of those flowers except for the sunflower; it seems to realistic for you're pack, almost like it's photorealistic. It's a bit hard to see and I may be wrong, but that's just my impression.
In my experience, a one gig graphics card should be plenty. I don't really see anything wrong with you're current specs, although it does seem a bit strange that a computer with that graphics card would only have four gigs of RAM. I would probably say that the most important thing for you to upgrade would be the RAM, and you should be fine.
I feel bad, your pictures don't show up in my explorer.. What's your host? I really want to see your progress :/
I actually have a Weebly site with all my pictures. It's pretty unconventional, but it has worked until now. I'm not sure what to do. Is it all of my pictures or just that particular one?
I'm not sure about the glass design, I was just experimenting. I don't think I'll keep the planks, I'll tone down the contrast and brightness, but I like the cobble, and I'll continue to work on the dirt.
I'm not really sure how much I like the whole thing, really. It doesn't look exactly like Victoriacraft to me. I feel like changing the planks back will help, but what do you think?
Glimmar— I was thinking that I'd probably just make it so that the colors that are used in mesa biomes will work, and use the colors that aren't used as building materials. Thanks for the encouragement.
Anyway, I was working on revamping some old textures:
(new and old for comparison)

It's gorgeous.
I'm jealous. I'm trying to redo some of the basic texture of my pack and I'm having some serious troubles, especially with cobble. (Actually only with cobble; that's all I've attempted... ;))
Not really.
I have unfortunately, 0% free time per day, and so It's only on the rare weekend that I can get a couple of hours to work. I've recently started to dislike several of the core textures, so I'm thinking about a major overhaul. This is not a very good idea, since I already have no time. I'm going to experiment and see if I can get something worth the time and work. I'll post anything that I do make to keep all of you updated. Right now I'm really inspired for the hardened clay, so that's probably my priority, along with basic textures experimentation.
WHAT? This is madness. I'm sorry but Conquest, Chroma Hills and Definitance are by no means "WIP." Sure, they're technically not totally complete, but they are some of the most complete packs on the forums! We don't need yet another section. This is just a confusing, pointless, bad idea.

And it has vertical CTM!

Does that work:

Anyway, great job as always!
