Fevers dreams. Honestly, those things make absolutely no seance. In fact, fevers at night in general suck. You Start seeing really creepy things 2 hours in.

My villagers mine only when I'm nearby.
When I walk away to attend to my kingdom, they just lean on their picks and gossip.
Why? Miners should be mining even when I'm far away.
I have three villagers on a mine so far and I can still mine faster than them.
Instead I'm spending my time chopping down the wood fence posts they put up which then stops them and me from getting anywhere in that tight space.
And that's IF they don't get in each other's way.
Most of the time, when I tell one to mine, he causes the other two to stop.
Minecraft limitation. Notch made it so only chunks close by stay loaded. The same applies to furnaces, mob traps Ect. If he hadn't done this, large worlds would have a huge amount of lag.

Not what happened on my map. The new chucks just had a weird bounder that didn't line up with the old ones. He got an ocean biome on the edge of his old world, hence sheer cliff and endless ocean.
