Great idea, gold and lapis need more uses since they can't be crafted into tools (not decent ones, anyways) This would add a bit of a different taste to minecraft, but don't overflow. Magic healing potion-limit. If you go too far, we might as well rename this topic wizards 101.

Seenbo, you are not thinking this situation: It's nighttime you're lost and a bazillion mobs are chasing you. Would you actually stop to look at the moon and sun? Trust me, I wouldn't.

I thought about making a directional compass (North, West, East, South)to guide our way. It would be so much easier than wearily climbing to your spawn point and shrieking when you remember your house is far, far away. (it happens to me) It can be crafted like: The diamond is a compass. OR: It can be toggled with "c" for compass. This would also add to the aspect of adding a simple north south pinpointer on the map item. By having something as simple as this, it will be easy to find our way home and\or to a friend's home. The other option is to have 1,000,000,000 torches, cobblestone, or another item useful for pathmarking. Please vote on the poll above and post yout suggestions, everybodies' voice must be heard.

Hammocker, that's a great idea, but not a specific class, that would be pointless. I built a gladiator arena too. The person who defeats everybody in the arena at the time is declared "king" of the arena. When a opposition is pinned in a duel, they give thumbs up meaning they survive, and thumbs down w\ reason, meaning they don't.
Also, a spleef arena is sounding good. Hedge maze? Gladiator arena with mobs? Nether\night survival? Possibilities are endless...
