- Enchantment levels are slightly exponential again. oh man, i was having so much fun enchanting like i've never enchanted before
- It now takes 825 Experience to reach level 30. awwww
- Texture Packs image is displayed for folder based texture packs.
- The player can now see the cracking effect on blocks when other players mine blocks in multiplayer. wonder what this is for? Bug Fixes:
- Pressing F no longer reloads chunks.
- Fixed a bug when pistons pushed a wire.
- NPC Villagers procreate again.
- Mining a ore give now 3 times less experience orbs. it was a bug? oh man.... =(
- Weathers transitions are back.
- Slime and Magma Cube jumping animations have been fixed.
- Armor and Tool enchantments now show on multiplayer.
- The search function in the creative inventory now only activates within the search tab, meaning that the inventory key now allows you to exit the creative menu once again.

The good: Cool trading is finally available. Currency is a decent way of going about it. Game seems to have a smoother terrain
generation.
with that said
The bad: I was very hesitant when the snapshots that fused SSP with SMP came out, I would always try out every single snapshot
no matter how small the change list was or how pathetic the new changes were. But when people started talking about SSP
having lag like you would on SMP I held back, but after a few cool additions, mainly from this snapshot, I decided to give it a try
man was I not expecting this, the lag is seriously just like you'd find in a server...
Who even thought that would be a good idea, and to make the mod api easier to implement? for who? people who play exclusively
on SMP ?
Overall I can see that they tried something innovative to eliminate several problems at once, but failed miserably by destroying the
fundamental game on SSP. I can't even mine without going through the same cement block twice. Fighting, let us not even talk
about hostile mobs, but a little piggy can be a pain in the but, wasting the durability on your weapon/hitting the damn animal 6 times
to make it drop..... and all of a sudden it appears a couple of blocks behind you.
I seriously hope they fix this, because I had quit playing MC for the PC a while back and with the recent changes thought I'd be
back and happily playing, but this experience just settled it for me, I'll leave this version alone and continue playing on the xbox
even if most of the cool content is not there yet. -

you had different door, fences of each color....

I understand what you're saying, but there is no way people will play the game CONTINUOUSLY, yeah sporadically they'll return to it (maybe for new mod updates/new mods, or just plain new vanilla updates, and or for nostalgia reasons)
but no matter how great a game you make (and minecraft is truly one of those awesome games)
people WILL tire of it, it's almost infinite what you can do with minecraft (in terms of videogames)
but people will lose interest one day... at think about it, people have been playing the game 2, 1 year without stopping almost? (depends when you purchased it)
so it's bound to get a bit repetitive (which is something minecraft is not known for too much, it's new it's innovative etc)

I think the situation happened first when they made the mobs 'more aggressive' or however mojang described it
it's not lag, it's the fact that they explode so much quicker
this is not a complain because they kill me or not (they actually don't)
it's just that they seem to insta-explode, and of course they leave the terrain looking like sh*t
not sure if it's depending on difficulty but I play on hard
so is this sentiment shared by others? or am i just not fighting them correctly?
also on a totally unrelated issue, i play offline on a second computer
and my sound seems to be completely sketchy as f****, anybody else notice? ( i don't mean new sounds)
i mean there is no sound at all BUT sometimes the music plays

i cannot state how much i agree with this post, although for me any addition (most of the time) is a welcome addition
more content = more fun
but yeah like you i don't use potions, or the beacon or enchant that often so i would too prefer to have some extra tools (with new ores) or new blocks etc
doesn't mean i want the beacon / potions to be out of the game
i just prefer they add that stuff first =)

reward will only be getting the stuff
with more caves we get more resources, and thus able to build/fight more oten
that's a better reward ratio right there

literally couldn't find one as before you could fly for maximum 4-5 minutes and find one or two

made my MC a bit laggy.... and no villages on flatworlds...... which sucks because they added cool customizable options for this
world type but we get no structures........ =(

IMO
because..... trading? i guess if you're inclined to do it, much easier to farm most of the stuff the villagers sell
i wish we'd get at least something else with the ore.... maybe in the future, like have it in crafting recipes, (not necessarily weapons/toos)

Hope this means we still get the same stuff just at different times (enchanting on 1.8 for xbox for example)
not that we'll get less stuff or completely different? (depends if it's better?)
