Sorry for the thread necromancy, but yes, I made one back in January! I used an 8x8 inch pan so it was about 1/4 the size of the real cake in every direction, but it was not really tall enough - I should have cooked two layers. I used cream cheese icing and put red sprinkles on the top through square cut-outs in a piece of paper. I haven't put my pictures up anywhere yet but a friend took this: http://plixi.com/p/72470138
