Notch have enough money now, he doesnt care about his fans or about Minecraft anymore......

It's been 3 days...not only does Notch not work on Minecraft anymore, 4J Studios is responsible for updates to the xbox 360 version, and Jeb and a couple others(I forget their names right now) work on minecraft on PC. So shut up with the "He's rich and doesn't give a ****". Have some patience...

posted a message on What do you think about the World Size?
Here is an idea I posted on Reddit, but it got buried, I hope it doesn't here. I don't feel like typing it out again so I'm just gonna copy/paste

Please keep in mind that I do not completely understand how it works, and I made this so other can chime in to see if it's a good idea, if so, pass it on to 4J:
While mining for diamonds and nearing the end of the world(It's a large mine...) I was think to myself if 4J could ever expand the world in some way, and then I thought "What if when you reach the invisible wall, a prompt comes up asking you if you would like to leave this current portion of the world and load a new portion". I know that Minecraft on XBLA has a limited world size due to memory(or at least I think so), so when it loads the new world, could it essentially dump the old portion out of memory?
TL;DR: Prompt asking to load a new portion of the current world, and dump the current portion
Again, I have no idea what I'm talking about, feel free to branch off of this

posted a message on Looking for an SMP server
I'm looking for an SMP server(not Hamachi) that is not too developed, no pvp, where cheating(spawning items) is not allowed, and obviously no griefing. I know I ask a lot of you but please, I have been looking for a server for quite a while now and I can't seem to find one to my liking.

    My IGN is XXJIMBOXX93

    Thanks for your time

I'm looking for a hopefully small, casual, not too advanced world with not too many game altering plug-ins. I'm not interested in RP servers. I think it can go without saying that I don't want griefing. If it matters to you, I have a bit of experience hosting my own Bukkit server, and I am familiar with plug-ins, I'm also 18. IGN: XXJIMBOXX93
    Let me know, thanks.

posted a message on Relatively new small vanilla
Me and 2 other friends play on my server, 100% vanilla and it's not on all the time(I'm east coast). I can allow a max of 4 extra people on(I would do more but my upload can't handle a server and mah online gamez, I likez mah gamez). So I have a whitelist on and if you would like to join keep this in mind, no griefing, no stealing(idk if that falls under griefing), no being a ****. Now if you want to join please fill out this sexy application:

    In-Game Name:
    Why you want to join:
    Why you are awesome:
Age(doesn't really matter just want to know, don't worry im not a pedo):
Is the server not being on ALL the time a problem for you(not that I can do anything about it):
Do you get along with other people?:

Extra info.:As stated it is vanilla, version 1.0.0

Apologies if you can't join because whitelist if full.

Why Do You want to join This Server? I want to join because I like vanilla servers, my old server died so I need a new one, and based off of what I've seen, it'll have a good community.

That didn't work you have skype

I don't have skype. I'm running out of ideas so I'll just list the rest I have.
    1. Update java
    2. Is the game full?
    3. Firewall(as mentioned before)
    4. Make port range 25560-25570(already mentioned)
    5. Make sure you look over your router's configuration( Ip and all)
    6. Try connecting using local ip, external ip, or type in localhost
    7. compare this new computers configuration to the other one and see what is different
Sorry if this doesn't help :sad.gif:
