Mar 2, 2014xfritz5375 posted a message on [Idea] "Resurrection" - more interesting respawning - WoW inspiredGood idea, but I feel this is a little bit too difficult for people like me who are always on easy with keep inventory and mobGriefing off. Maybe this could be balanced by having no punishments on peaceful or easy, less punishment on normal, and the punishments you said on hard.Posted in: Requests / Ideas For ModsQuote from Iron_M
Of course it was intentional ^^
I also thought about dying in lava, and I'm not sure random graves are the right solution...
I have to find another way to do this...
How about making random graves extremely rare, and there is a structure that you can find that has many graves called a graveyard (obviously). It isn't very rare, and it has two blocks of soulsand under the graves.
Mar 1, 2014If you are into mods like IC2 or Buildcraft but think it is OP, try using GregTech. It completely changes the difficulty of crafting everything and adds a Bronze Age where machines are less powerful, but you need to do that first tog get more powerful, regular IC2 machines. It also makes some vanilla things more expensive like 1 wood gives two planks which give 2 sticks. You also need 12 iron for your first pick axe. You will probably need NEI and plugins, and you also need to make sure you are careful with machines because rain, high voltages, or misusing them causes explosions. I love it, and BevoLJ has done a GregTech Bronze Age spotlight so you can understand it.Posted in: Requests / Ideas For Mods
Feb 17, 2014Make it so if you have IC2 installed he will sit on a mass fabricator (just like cats sit on a chest) and, if he has buckets in his inventory, he will take the UU out.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Feb 16, 2014You should make the Soaryn Chest place chests with random stuff in it or make the one you have a Soaryn Chest 2.0 and make the Soaryn Chest 1.0 made like this:Posted in: Minecraft Mods
G is gold, I is iron, and C is a chest.
That will make 16 Soaryn Chest 1.0 that randomly chooses to have mineshaft, bonus chest, or stronghold loot when you place it, and it will give random loot from that. Also make it so after it is broken the items spew out and it becomes a normal chest.
Feb 16, 2014I have been playing MCReborn on the ATLauncher and there are fake players talking to me! I know this is not from MCA, so does anyone know what it is?Posted in: Mods Discussion
If I am posting this in the wrong section, please tell me.

Feb 16, 2014I have an idea for a mod that adds Apple products into Minecraft. Everything would run off of EU, IC2's energy unit.Posted in: Requests / Ideas For Mods
The first thing you will need to build is an assembling table that works like a Project Table from RedPower 2 that runs off of EU. This is needed to craft everything in the mod.
The first thing you will need to craft is a silicon chip. It is crafted like this:
S is silicon.
You are probably wondering what silicon is. Silicon ore is found in a world and is about as rare as emerald but it spawns in any biome. When you mine it you get silicon. It requires 1 EU to craft.
Next you need to make a electronic circuit (use the same ore dictionary name as an IC2 circuit.). You craft it like this:
R is redstone, S is a silicon chip, and G is energetic glowstone (shapelessly crafted by putting 1 piece of redstone with one piece of glowstone in a regular crafting grid.). It costs 1 EU to make.
iPods have screens, so next you craft a screen. It is crafted like this:
G is a glass pane.
Next you will need plastic. It is made by melting rubber (gotten from rubber tree leaves, which are part of worldgen) in a melter. A melter requires 5 EU per tick and lava on at least one side. The more sides that have lave, the faster it melts. It has an internal buffer for the liquids it makes, and if you put a bucket in a slot it will fill it. To get the plastic, you dump the liquid plastic you get in the melter in the world, and wait for one day to get the solid plastic. You can dye the plastic to change the color of the iPod. After you do that, you have everything you need to craft the iPod. It is crafted like this:
P is plastic, G is the screen, B is a plastic button (one piece of plastic in a regular crafting grid), I is iron, S is an electronic circuit, and W is white dye. Each costs 100 EU to make.
After that, you put those parts like this:
Or for the iPhone
Or the iPad:
T is the top, M is the middle, and B is the bottom. It costs 1000 EU for an iPod, 10000 for an iPhone, and 100000 for the iPad.
For all of these, almost everything is the same. They each have some small differences. But here I'll just explain the similar parts. When you right click, it opens a GUIwhere you can go on the app store or use an app you have. If you go on the app store, it will open another GUI where you can search for apps and download them or buy them with gold. Once you download the app, you can open it up. When you open it, it will take you to a dimension.
These dimensions are special. For example, a Flappy Bird dimension would turn you into the bird, and you can fly through tubes. These dimensions will all have rewards. For example, every tube you pass through wil give you a gold nugget, and every 10 tubes you get an emerald. To leave you just right click again with your iPod.
If you throw an iPod on the ground, it will break. You can assemble a case to prevent this. Cases are crafted like chests with plastic. It costs 50 EU to craft it. You shapelessly craft a case with an iPod in a regular crafting grid to get a cased version.
The iPod has nothing special about it. The iPhone can text other players. The iPad can use more apps.
To download apps or text players, you need Internet connection. You get this by using WiFi. It is crafted with plastic around an electronic circuit for 100 EU. This requires 5 EU per tick to run. Anyone within 16 blocks of the WiFi can use it.
With iPhones you can get MG (like 3 or 4G). To get this you trade the phone and some emeralds With a special villager to get a MG phone. Every day you have to pay 1 gold nugget or your phone will no longer be MG. Thefold nugget will be paid from your inventory.
If you don't have IC2 installed, you will need a way to get EU. That is with a coal generator. 1 coal will give you 50 EU. This is crafted like a chest but with iron blocks. You need to right click it with a flint and steel for it to start working. It will produce smoke, which can suffocate you, so you need to drive it out with a smokestack. A smokestack is crafted like this:
S is stone (smooth not cobble), and B is blank.
You also need wires, which are assembled with one iron and one redstone shapelessly in an assembling table. It costs 5 EU to make. You can charge an iPod directly in a generator or in an EU storage box, which is crafted like wires, but with blocks of the resources. EU storage boxes also make it so you don't lose EU when you don't have anywhere to use it.

Jan 5, 2014I don't like Sky, but I still hate squids. Without mods, the only use of squids is ink sacs, and those are basically as useless as lapis lazuli. Even with mods, there are very few (four that I can think of) that use ink sacs or squids. Morph lets you become one and swim faster underwater and breathe underwater, thaumcraft needs scribing tools, buildcraft needs them for the filler, and divineRPG has armor that uses them. Other than that, they just lag the game.Posted in: Discussion
