The premise is simple: a block, resembling a dock, that could be used to "park" a boat. The boat would remain fixed in place next to the block, and when in position, a player leaving the boat would appear on the dock (instead of standing on the boat, pushing it away).
This would enable boats to be used effectively as a means of transport without the need of breaking your boat, or risking it being pushed off and lost.
I realize that building dock-like systems that utilize the flow of water to keep boats close to shore are already possible. However, such systems are unsightly, risk breaking your boat on the shore if you come in too quickly, and you must fight the current if/when you want to depart again.
EDIT: I tried it in Maya 2010 and 2013 64 bit, and it didn't work for either. It returns the following error:
// Error: line 1: Cannot find procedure "ct_mayaCraft"
I followed all installation instructions closely.
By the way, does anyone know an easy way to make minecraft tools in Maya? Minecraft takes a 2D sprite and extrudes it into a 3D shape... is Maya capable of doing this without re-drawing the outline as a CV Curve?

It sounds like you either used the MCEdit version with the save bug, or you mixed up moving the player and the player spawn point. Try again with 0.1.5 (if you weren't using that) andmake sure you move the correct one (or both just to be sure). It's hard to say for certain without knowing exactly what you did.
Well I downloaded the most recent version yesterday just prior to posting this, which according to the site is 0.1.5. I noticed the difference between player and player spawn point right away, so the first thing I checked the first time it didn't work is that I moved the player and not the spawn. I'm on a different computer than I was yesterday, so I'll try it again from here and get back to you.
EDIT: It may be worth noting that I downloaded the Windows 7 (64-bit) version of the program, which is the correct version for my OS, and not the 32-bit version.
Any word on an update? I just fell in lava because my laptop is a piece of crap and lagged as soon as I entered the Nether. I tried to move myself back up next to my portal with MCEdit, but it didn't save. I assume that's because I have to wait for MCEdit to update to be compatible with 1.4.2.
I've noticed that if you delete minecraft.jar, you can't use the Force Update feature. This is problematic, since the only time I ever need to use force update is to quickly download a fresh new .jar file.
Also, the launcher will not let me create new profiles to easily select between multiple .jar files.
This is awesome, he choose the perfect clips because most of them fitted in, not perfectly synced but I'm cool with that.
Wow, that's really well done. By the end it had shivers running down my spine. It helps that it's a fantastic song that pretty much does that on its own, though.
1. What was your initial reaction upon hearing about bronies?
2. How slowly did you transition into liking the show? Maybe I should say, when were you sold that it was an awesome show?
3. Where did you find out about bronies?
For me, I literally hated bronies (oh so naive), watched the pilot episode and decided "i'll watch another" and slowly liked it more and more, and I found out about it because my friend IRL told me about it.
1. Doubt. I thought it was a silly meme, that people only liked MLP for the irony and comedic factors involved, and that it would eventually get old.
2. It took me watching 3 episodes. By the end of #3, I was completely dazed and confused. The only thing I seemed certain of was that I was a brony.
3. I had stumbled upon them in Minecraft servers in the form of Pixel art, and posted around the internet via message boards. I was first officially introduced to MLP FiM in the pony thread at www.lbpcentral.com/.
As much as I'm not a fan of shameless self-advertisement, I feel this is very relevant since we're talking about drawing ponies. This is a link to my dA account. I happen to draw 99.99% nothing but ponies.
Well hello there! I guess, a usual newcomer question: Favourite pony/episode?
My favourite canon pony is definitely Fluttershy, but as far as non-canon goes, that spot goes to DJ P0n-3 :tongue.gif:
As for episode... that's a tough call. I've never really given it much thought, but I suppose if I had to choose, I would go with Green Isn't Your Color.

No, Luna just after Nightmare Moon is defeated. She's small and childish looking.

Do you prefer the old Luna or the new Luna?
