I have to agree with some others, the stone theme looks fantastic but the color scheme on the wood theme looks a little sickly. Other than that it's great as well.

Just drop the jar file into the /mods folder. Works 100% for me.

I just needed to come back and say the old record alts look so good with the new item frames. It makes taking the time to kite creepers around skellies much more worth it.

I'm glad you're still working on this. I've updated to 1.4, but I'll be watching this mod for the next update. Keep it up and good work.

posted a message on Where the heck are the animals?!?!
That's not how it is on the PC version, only during the 1.8 beta period.
It's a broken spawn mechanic. The only difference with this Xbox 1.8 and the PC 1.8 is that on the PC animals would spawn but would always be crowded in some random nook that's hard to find or stranded out in open areas of water. I've created a few worlds on my Xbox now and animals just aren't spawning often at all, other than the massive hordes of wolves. There is no case of "wander around, you'll see some new animals eventually.", there are barely any initial animals to begin with. As suggested before in other threads; kill all wolves you see and clear all tall grass you see. That should get some spawning eventually.

It sounds like you need to give the game a break for a while. If you spend more time in the game then in real life, you're going to get bored of it. I stopped playing for a few months and just came back to it and it's fresh as ever.

posted a message on Can't find any passive mobs?
    Quote from Woolfman

You have to REALLY look for them. But, I have seen all the passive mobs so it isn't a bug. Yes, though, they are much rarer now.

No, it is a bug. This was present back in the day on the PC as well. Natural wolves don't have the same spawn mechanics as other passive mobs, so the same rules don't apply to them. This causes them to severely overpopulate. They are not persistent unless tamed. Killing any and all wolves that spawn will increase the likelihood of something useful spawning and once they do, they'll stay until killed.

Are ya gonna whine about saddles too? I like that they are here already. I'm a hoarder. Gimme the Precious!!!

What's there to whine about saddles? They've been in the game forever and are instant hilarity in multiplayer. They weren't incomplete, they served their purpose. Put a saddle on a pig IRL and see what happens. Endermen dropping a useless ball is a different story.

posted a message on lets us SD players play splitscreen
If they let you play split-screen on an SD TV you'd then be complaining about how you can't see jack . If you want to play split-screen, get that other person to help invest in an HDTV. If you and/or them don't have a job because you're too young or whatever then just be grateful for what you have.

posted a message on Future World Generations
It's not changing. The current PC version is miles ahead of the current Xbox version, and the terrain generation has barely changed since beta 1.8. The only things that have changed is how common structures are and the addition of jungle biomes and improved (some would say) swamps.

Then it wouldn't be redstone. But I do like the idea. You'd have better luck suggesting it to Jeb or Nathan on Twitter. Even better luck on Reddit, since that's the only thing they pay attention to these days.

It shouldn't be in the game for hoarding purposes. It currently has no use, so it should have been removed until the feature was fully implemented. That's like having pistons that don't respond to redstone, or compasses that spin constantly. They're not necessary to the core game, but they are also serving absolutely no use. Minecraft may be one of the only games to be released in "beta" form on the Xbox Live marketplace (I'm not sure if it's mentioned anywhere), but it should not have incomplete features.

    Quote from Geneo

    I hate endermen.
    Hate 'em.
They have no redeeming value.... at all.
    Worst mob ever.
The idiot who ever thought of them should be shot.
By the idiot who thought of silverfish.
    Then he should be shot.

Those are some strong words for just a video game.
And they will have a redeeming value. The Ender Pearls they drop will allow you to teleport when you throw them, once it's implemented that is.

posted a message on Do Enderman feel, not right?
They're basically the same as they were in the PC release of 1.8, except on the Xbox version they have proper sounds where on the initial PC introduction of them they simply used zombie noises as place holders and they had green eyes and emitted big smoke particles instead of portal particles.

Also note that in the 1.8 release on the PC, Endermen worked fine in single player but were severely bugged in multiplayer as they wouldn't aggro when the player moused over them unless it was at a precise spot above their head, where the 'hitbox' was miscoded. For a few releases after, their jaws didn't open in multiplayer but did in single player. I believe that's fixed now, but broken on the Xbox release, most likely due to the singleplayer/multiplayer merge. Also note that Ender Pearls initially did nothing until some user suggestion on reddit convinced Notch or Jeb at the time to have the pearls teleport the player when thrown. Since the xbox version is mostly just a port, they didn't pull it forward. Though, I really think they should have. Another bug with the Xbox version is that Endermen don't make their teleporting sounds most of the time, they'll just disappear with no noise.

Their damage done/taken is the same as the PC introduction of the mob. The community whined and moaned for the longest time and Endermen got nerfed and buffed over and over again until the point they are at now on the current PC version. The current Xbox Endermen are severely underpowered in comparison.

I'm having the same issue. I would create a world (always survival) and see passive mobs around and pull out the map to see how much water is around and gauge whether or not I want to use the world depeding on the surrounding biomes. Sometimes I don't and create a new world and end up using that one only to find there are about 98% wolves in tiagas and forests with maybe 2% being a rare lone sheep or cow. Plains and mountain biomes are comepletely devoid of life. Other than the hostile kind, of course. Same for all difficulties. I haven't even touched creative yet and I deleted all of my old pre 1.8 worlds weeks ago. I do believe this was also an issue present at the initial beta 1.8 release on the PC version, as well.
