Just tried an older world, and 3 new ones. All have the same problem. I'm running Windows 7 Professional. 3.5Ghz core 2 duo, 4gb ram, 1gb nvidia gts 250 graphics. I didn't have any problems with 1.4, 1.5 did something. All sorts of people are happy about the better performance, I feel left out :sad.gif:

Just played around changing the settings and nothing helped it.

Graphics: Fast
Limit Framerate: Off
View Bobbing: On
Gui Scale: Auto
Render Distance: Far
3D Anylgraph: Off
Smooth Lighting: On
Advanced OpenGl: Off

I upgraded to 1.5, started a new world, and now every 10 seconds or so it lags for a second, then runs fine until the next lag spike 10 seconds later. It happens in fancy or fast graphics. Anyone else had this problem?

You can use it, place your world folder in home/Library/Application Support/minecraft/saves.
