Thanks, guys. I took it to the vet. I described the bug to them, and they gave it some sort of bath in the back. He smells like horrible now, but it worked.
Recently, while petting my kitty, I felt a strange bump on his head. Mistaking it for a burr, I yanked it out. Upon examination, it appeared to be a small, round-ovalish, shelled bug. I dropped it from surprise, and I think it scuttled away. It was about a 4th the size of my fingernail.
Anyway, I want to know if this is some sort of pet-bug. If it helps, I live in IL and this cat likes to go outside and go under evergreen bushes. The inside of my house is generally clean and I don't think that is where he got it.
I'm not really worried about this, just curious. If any of you reading this are pet experts, or you have just seen this before, I'd like to know! I've conducted several Google searches, and it is not the "varied carpet beetle" (which was most of my results).
I'm not sure if the chance is higher, but I know of an excellent way to deal with them.
Plant loads of sapling right next to each other on a huge field. Eventually this will turn into a large canopy, and you can literally strip-mine through it, like you would underground. Bring an axe, and (optional) a sword and/or shears.

Lately, I have been searching for a mod that allows you to open a menu and "wait" for a set amount of time, similar to the function in popular role-playing games, like Fallout or the Elder Scrolls games.
I'm sure such mods exist, but I just can't find them. I would appreciate if someone would refer me to an existant mod, or, if someone can, make one! Thanks in advance.

I value vanilla game-play or semi-vanilla with little game-play change from vanilla (logblock, etc).
I am willing to put 10+ hours a week into building great things both physically and socially within the server.
I would prefer a server that has a few Ops, minimal plugins (again, only essentials) and a mature community.
I would also like there to be some sort of whitelist.
