Is there a way to make granite texture actually look like the icon? Personally can't stand the current granite texture as it the actual in game texture isn't the same as the icon. Anyone know how to change this, I don't even see where the current texture is even coming from.
What version of Optifine should I use for 1.8.0 11.14.3.1450 version of forge by chance, anyone know? The UD 5 doesn't seem to work with 1450 version of forge. That or I'm installing it incorrectly, when I install it and move the jar over, it tells me it's an internal mod, so I add it to my internals and it tells me it's not compatible.
It's been a while since I've played, and there's a dozen and a half videos/guides on how to get Optifine/Forge to work properly all doing different things.
EDIT: Just learned the changelog shows what version is compatible with what version. 1486 incase anyone else gets this issue.
EDIT2: 1486 still says not compatible with UD 5 version of Optifine. I assume I'm just installing it incorrectly. Hope someone might be able to point me in the right direction. dsw
My Steps are:
Install Forge 1.8 (1486), run normal launcher to start it, then close.
Install Optifine 1.8 UD 5, Install and take out the Jar file and place it in Mods Folder
Run Magic Launcher, keeping it in mods folder says 'Internal Mod',
Moved UD5 to a sub-folder in same directory I use for Internal Mods
Add UD5 to mods list in Magic Launcher, says incompatible.
EDIT3: So, switched something and instead of installing Optfine 1.8 D5, I instead just took the downloaded jar and placed in my subfolder for internal mods and it said 'OK', but I get this error.
18:35:31] [main/ERROR] [FML]: There is a binary discrepency between the expected input class ckn (ckn) and the actual class. Checksum on disk is 9b4946ad, in patch a0b618d4. Things are probably about to go very wrong. Did you put something into the jar file?

EDIT4: Just reread the instructions on main page
- Click "Advanced"
- In the field "Parameters" add "-Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true"
- Click "OK"
- Login and play
Did this and it still crashes.
Got it to work with these settings
B. Simple (for OptiFine 1.6.2_C4 and newer)
- Put the OptiFine JAR file in the Forge "mods" folder
- Start Minecraft and Forge should automatically load OptiFine
It was just being unobservant, I'll leave this all here in case someone else is as dumb as I am.
I want this mod to be compatible with the better dungeons mod(chocolate quest) so that the dungeons spawn in the custom biomes. But, I need the *exact* names of the biomes to be able to config it. Can anyone give me a list? . I'would be much appreciated

If the server admins doesn't allow it - then you should do as they say or play on another server.
Anything other than what I asked is irrelevant.
Whether or not they allow it on the server shouldn't and does not concern you. I'm actually here the server's behalf, as my admins don't know about certain plugins blocking features like this when they update them or forget they to change the setting to allow them since the person who used to do all this doesn't play on the server anymore. It was like that with several other client side mods as well.
Now that we got that out of the way, what setting might have to be changed in order for this to be fixed to allow the slime chunks to be loaded? What Bukkit plugins might conflict with this setting and what might I look for in the settings to allow the change?
it'd help if you read the first post. it is possible to enable those on a server, you need to install the LoginMessage mod on the server and configure it to allow it.
look at "How to Enable Cave mapping / Entities radar on SMP" part.
Not entirely sure if this is directed at me or @Jesus, I can try to change the settings but I've never had to change it for slimes chunks before.
The server you play on may not allow this.

So, I'm currently not getting -any- settings in world creation for this update. Using magic launcher, BWG4_V111, and Forge 1.6.2 780. I don't know what I'm currently doing wrong, the launcher itself says no issues but I am not getting any options for BWG right now. Will be looking at post 1 again to see if I did something wrong.
EDIT: Upgraded to the recommended Forge Build 784, still no changes
EDIT2: Okay, got my problem all figured out. Magic Launcher has a weird new way of using files. If anyone else needs help, I used this post to help me.
I'm am ecstatic on this about the cave world. I loved the setting so much, the only problem (opinion) I had with it was the 'caves' were too open and big and didn't really feel like a cave, just the overworld with stone roof.
Can't seem to get this to work right now with a manual install for some reason. I've used SPC in the past, so I know how to (unassuming) install it correctly, but really confused right now.
Place Com in minecraft.jar (overwrite), place worldedit.jar in bin folder. What am I supposed to do with the .class files, nothing?
I'm still looking forward to the day a singleplayer version comes out for this mod. This has always been one of my favorite mods for a long time when I started playing on a server. It gave the game more 'something' to it and it saddens me that people use mods that allow to teleport to people or predetermined 'warps' with a command instead of having something like this which gives more immersion.
My old server had an entire Rune area housed with many teleports and decorated to make it look really good at the spawn.

Read the Downloads, the optfine version isn't out, only vanilla.
