Recently I reformatted my hard drive for irrelevant reasons. Prior to this, I could play Minecraft just fine (although with a bit of lag). However, after I reformated/reinstalled Windows 7 32-bit I was unable to log in to Minecraft. After I try to log in, I get this error:
Bad video card drivers!

I've installed the latest driver for my video card (Radeon X1300/X1550 Series. Any suggestions for fixing this OpenGL problem? Thanks in advance.
Same thing happened to me, just update the drivers (Google your video card and put "drivers" along the search or something)
I don't play using mods normally. But, some of them do make the game more fun. I used mo'creatures but, I got rid of it after a while.
I'm using the Yogsbox, Mo'creatures makes the game a bit too annoying, with ogres that smash blocks and the wolves. Let me see if I can disable Mo'creatures....
