in the description ffor the sea serpent, it says its able to shatter ships. does this mean the mod could have a boat building/ sailing mechanic or does it mean it can easily smash the regular minecraft boats?

    I've seen it! It's great!

Also, a question for the developers:

The pterosaurs don't appear to have the membrane from wings to legs, is this due to animation concerns?

no it's just on the wings also why no biting animations

    Quote from DinoDude_X2O»

All this talk about I.Rex foster parents reminds the Archbishop of his tangent awhile back about if Indominus should be raised by tyrannosaur family or a velociraptor pack. Imprinting could definitely be possible, but as for the gratitude concept, very unlikely (say no to anthropomorphism!). To make short of a very long tangent, the Archbishop doesn't think a Indominus hatchling would turn on it's tyrannosaur caretakers.

Original Rant for those who do not value their sanity :P Warning, the following also has spoilers from Jurassic World.

Her base genetic structure is a Tyrannosaur, and in the second film they have been shown to be excellent parents for their offspring. Additionally, if she were to become unruly the Tyrannosaur parents could handle her, where as a raptor pack could be overwhelmed. Her cannibalistic nature towards offspring would also be negated as the Tyrannosaurs seem to only nurture one child (that, or the child Tyrannosaur in the second film ate her siblings, in which case a perfect match!). Raptors have multiple clutches of offspring, all close together. I don't think the pack would be very forgiving of a single offspring consuming the rest of the pack's offspring. The only monkey wrench in this theory would be her behavior towards the raptors. Instead of mindlessly eating them, she reached out and communicated with them, and managed to trump years of training with humans in a matter of seconds... all without violence (which normally is how the pack finds and maintains an alpha, case and point Blue/Echo). When Rexy and the Indominus interact within the film, she does not attempt to communicate with Rexy, but instead the two engage in hostilities. However, this could be written off as the two animals engaging over the territory dispute, as Rexy is very old and would be very aggressive to any younger members of her species(/any similarly shaped animal). Should they be raised together I'm sure this would not be the case. As for intelligence, Tyrannosaurs may not be as crafty as the raptors, but Rexy did exhibit some intelligence when she spared Blue's life. While certainly not as impressive as the Indominus' cunning, they wouldn't be left in the dust in terms of intelligence. To conclude this tangent, I think surrogate Tyrannosaur parents would better than surrogate raptor parents.

i remembered that rant when writing that comment,i was actually that brought up the topic. and that gratitude concept was actually in jw. when rexy and blue were done fighting i.rex, you could pretty much see that rexy was grateful for blue's help

    suggestions:

I kinda think that raptors should be like surrogate parents to indominus since it could talk to them and had a pack mentality

indominus can fit gyrospheres in its mouth

Dino's avoid steep drops and holes( I plan to what zoos do and make a moat around the animals)

    Dinosaurs establish territories

if you add dung it should be a block you could jump into to mask your scent
