Welcome to Gothicraft - a mod based around the renowned RPG named Gothic

Note: there is no release available yet, this is a placeholder for the releases, discussion, and a platform to gather ideas. Once I have a release, I'll upload it to Curseforge
The mod will include various aspects from the original game. The first Gothic game was released in 2001, so it's really old today, but for those (like me), who really loved its immersive atmosphere, darkish world and exciting story this mod can bring back some old memories and nostalgia - Minecraft-style.
This is my first Minecraft mod, so try to be patient and I'll too try to do my best to provive a good experience.
Planned content:
- Items: souch as the magic ore to forge armor and weapons. Ever wanted to craft your own large ore dragon slayer or crawler plate armor? Now you'll get the chance!
- Monsters like minecrawlers - lurking in the depths, molerats, etc. will all be included in this mod.
- Aesthetic blocks, etc.
- You tell me - other stuffs while I gather ideas
- An unique, ancient smithing procedure to create magic ore weapons

These rare ore spawns will be used for various items, like armor, tools, magical spells/foci or decorative blocks.
- Mining Ore Clusters will yield Magic Ore Clumps
I won't tell you more for now, as the project is heavily WIP but all ideas are welcome in the Discord channel or comments.
