I imagine most of you are wondering if I made a mistake or two in getting these results - and that is partially correct. I arrived home today at 5 PM my time. At 5:30, after a short amount of time playing on Convicted, I realized that votes reset today. Frantically, I pulled up the webpage to no avail - the results had already been reset. So now you might ask, "So builder, how'd you come up with these results?" I had to use Google Cache to recover a snapshot of the voting website. This snapshot was taken on April 28th, at 5:17 AM EDT (Eastern Daylight Time). Because I could not determine whether those with 27 votes had already voted that day, or had yet to vote to get to 28 votes, I decided to give them credit as well. I know I always manage to find a way to mess up the monthly voting, and I do apologize for that; but I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to vote for Convicted, and I look forward to announcing the winners of the Voting Contest next month! (Hopefully I'll manage to do better at this next month and make fewer mistakes ). To the winners: You will be receiving your prizes soon. I'm hoping to have them ready sometime within the next few days. Until then, keep on votin'!

I have to agree, chaos should be something that is long and hard to achieve, here is an example:
1. Get all 8 stars
2. Apply for event for people with 8 stars (held every 3 months){2 Winners per 3 months}
3. If you win the 8 star event, you move on to apply for an event that takes place once a year, with 4 people.
4. If you get accepted you do a long parkour with teams, a long parkour without teams and so on.
5. All of those who pass this get to take the Bains Test, a test on the history of the server.
6. Scoring 85% or higher on the test brings you to this, you must write an essay summarizing your entire life up until then on the server.
7. If the essay is accepted, your BP account is wiped along with all your chests and any top level plots (All items are wiped EXCEPT for 5 items of your choice if you would like.) And you are demoted to Elite to achieve Free to be able to use chaos.



This is just an idea that I have, it probably won't be used but I don't care it would restrict the amount of chaos users, get rid of money and valuable items.

Hello Convicted!

As some of you may already know, I have retired from Guard. To be honest, I didn't think I was going to retire any time soon, but I decided to retire today. These past 6 months as a Guard have been awesome, I loved every moment and I thank you all for that. Becoming a Guard was a dream come true and everyone has made it a great experience for me, and I appreciate that. I retired from Guard because I was growing a little tired of the job, I needed a break and I missed Free. But, I'll probably re-apply for Guard in the near future, I just need a few months off.

3) How long have you been playing the server? I have been playing Convicted for about 2 weeks, I believe. I know this is not as long as many other applicants, however, I do believe that I can adapt and fit in quickly and quite well.
4) Have you read the Server, Prison, and Guard Rules? Indeed, I have.
5) Any experience with the prison genre? Convicted would be the only prison server that I have actually bothered to play on and enjoy.

7) Why are you the best choice for guard? I believe that I can be a great choice for Guard, however, not the best choice. There are a lot of players on Convicted that can be considered as Guards, that I think have much more experience with prison servers and Convicted itself. To be perfectly honest, those players would probably be a much better choice than myself. However, I should not be counted out (even if I'm not as cool as Noakii). I do have experience with other Minecraft servers, including one that has a very large community. I was a moderator with that community for over three and a half months and I enjoyed being a part of staff very much. Although that community was much more strict than Convicted, I feel that I would have an enjoyable time being a Guard/Trainee for this prison server and I think I would be able to adjust to the situation well. I love that the majority of the community is very outgoing and that players are allowed to say what they want while still following a decent rule base. Moreover, after playing the server and dedicating time to roaming around, bringing two friends on, chopping trees for hours... I've grown a certain liking for the server and the current staff team and community. Every staff member that I've encountered seems to be quite friendly or entertaining for the most part, I would hope that players see me that way. Of course, there are always a few random C's that can definitely use jail-time and I would love to send them there. Haha. Anyway, I work from home with online employment, and my job is usually never constant - this gives me time to play Convicted and watch over the server and be a proper Guard, between work and Minecraft. I've gone through the tutorial a few times just to try and find some sort of knowledge about the server I don't already have. In addition, each time I add/remove or look at my application, I read over the Guard rules another time just to ensure that I did not miss anything. Clearly, I like to be thorough and I hope this is a good quality for a Guard to have. Integrity is also something I look for in staff, and so I would be sure to treat my position and choices as a Guard just as such with honesty. As I mentioned previously, I do not have any experience aside from Convicted with prison servers; I would need to learn from Guards and other staff members and I would, in fact, be more than happy to do so. Being granted a position of Trainee would be a triumph and would be taken seriously for me. If you have read my application, I want to sincerely thank you and if you are a staff member, your recommendation/comments would be appreciated.
8) Do you understand that nagging Wardens in-game to read your app will result in immediate decline? I do understand this very much, as I am part of a TeamSpeak community that accepts applications for staff. I find it highly annoying when people nag me; I won't be taking part in that. My boyfriend also owns a company that tends to get a lot of young applicants that do not understand what, "18 or older" means...
9) What is your current prison rank? Do you understand that we will require a screenshot of this when/if you retire from guard? I am currently in Block A. Yes, I do understand that a screenshot will be required upon my resignation.

Next, I would like to apologize to everyone about the lengthy delay of the prizes. Though I have been thinking about what the prizes for this month may be recently, and have received many suggestions, I have been unable to come to a conclusion that I feel would be the best prize for this month.
