I've noticed this too, and as a result I'm starting to run low on cash...
Not a single mob has spawned for two days in my grinder.
At first, I thought I may have been griefed, but after checking around I noticed there weren't any griefs.
I dno though, maybe it's helping with lag. Could be something Hexa's doing. Perhaps instead of mob grinders we could use some sort of alternative. Maybe a pluggin of sorts. For example...

/afkgrinder start 1 = "1 enchantment bottle, 1 zombie flesh, 1 bone, and 1 string" per 45 seconds
/afkgrinder start 2 = " " per 30 seconds
/afkgrinder start 3 = " " per 20 seconds

/afkgrinder start 5 = " " per 10 seconds
Pretty much, you would buy ("Create") a grinder that doesn't cause lag and has the same purpose of an afk grinder.
After you create it, though, you can use it at any time so long as you're actually afk. (No moving or it stops it.)
If this is ever implemented we should remove the 10min afk kick, then, so people can actually earn money.
Some possible prices? I dno, I'm not good with money ( So po' :l )
Maybe you guys should work that out.
Anyway, I'd love to see something like this on the server. I just thought it up, so (Hopefully) no other servers have something like this.

I'm not sure if that is the appropriate solution. I'd rather have minecraft as it is, mainly because it wouldn't work if you were to build the exact same thing on another server or in single player.
imo, it's much more fun to build a farm yourself, instead of typing in some command.
Soon, Convicted will be updating to Minecraft version 1.7.2. Would most of you prefer the amplified world type, or a normal world?
Note: An amplified world is a world generated with terrain extremes, where the elevation frequently exceeds 128 blocks, and will even reach up to worldheight (255 blocks). This world type is difficult to traverse and requires a substantial amount of computing power.
If the current world is staying I'd say amplified.
I've got a question about mob spawning. I've been checking my mob spawner for spawns lately but it seems to spawn zero mobs for hours, while sometimes, it produces 3 mobs per second. Does the server use something to regulate mob spawns? I just gotta know if I am doing something wrong
How do I properly request a prison transfer from Convicted? I'm using an alt on there and I want to play on my new main on Killion, does that work? Thanks in advance.
We currently only accept payments through Amazon. Either credit card, debit card, or prepaid cards (such as mastercard or visa). We do not have any Paypal options.

I started playing back in september 2012 and made my way up to Free quite fast, then built a base and such... I then quit for other games and now came back. A friend told me about this mod, but I didn't fully understand the consequences of it... I am really sorry for what I did, I didn't even do it for long and was just being stupid... I just wanted some quick cash to be able to build a safe base in the free world again, seeing my last one had been deleted by a map reset. I also knew the rule...
Any other information: I really like the server and the idea around it, there was and is no better prison server around and I understand the consequences of my faults... Please consider. You can delete all of the diamonds I made, even though only a small amount of them were acquired using this mod. they're in my bank as usual... Everything else I acquired is completely legit.
I feel ashamed..

- Is there any way to buy stuff from your shop (Premium, for example) using PayPal? Other prison servers use Buycraft which allows you to use PayPal. I would buy Premium but I'm not able to do so at this moment (I guess others have this problem too?)
- Are all ban appeals reviewed? Mine's still pending (sept. 6) while others, posted after mine, have been accepted/declined. I'm not impatient, but just curious.
Do transfers from Convicted also work if you play there on an alt? Let's say 'Peter' plays on Convicted and wants to be transferred to his account 'Frank' on KDC, would that work?

I've just finished building my server. I asked a friend to test it. He said he couldn't connect, but I also test the connectivity by just typing in my IP adress in minecraft together with the port. Gives the same effect as if I were my friend.
The problem is that my ports are opened! I used PFPortChecker and it says the port 25565 is opened. This is kind of strange.
I have a question. Is there any way to donate trough normal PayPal credit if I want to? I saw Amazon but I don't have any credit card or such a thing like that.
I would like to do a suggestion. MORE B-SECTION GUARDS...
There were literally none online today, resulting in massive amounts of people losing their goods they mined because simply no-one could do a thing about them.
