    thanks i only did this for an assessment at my school but i thought i could make more stories about other mods just for the minecraft community

    It was a dark gloomy night like a city without power only lit by moonlight. Steve was wandering through the woods and as he travelled he came across a small house with a warm bed and a lit furnace but it was either the dark, cold and dangerous creature or the warm, cosy and safe house that would protect him through the night when he entered the house he noticed the house was armed with weapons, tools and food but after looking around the house he finds a library with unspeakable knowledge. He looked confusedly through the informative books.

    He walked through the library which was as quiet as a broken flute until a big, dusty book jumped into his vision. At first he jumped nervously and then he grabbed the book and started to read it. The more he read the more he understood it. He read it as if it would save his life-everything else around him meant nothing even the sound of something banging loudly on the door didn’t stop him reading.

    As he continued to read he discovered that in order to complete the book he would have to do a lot of research tasks. If he didn’t complete his goal, he felt it would leave a massive void in his life. Again the banging started on the door-it was like a drummer in a quiet room. For his only defence he grabbed a sword which made him a powerful as a knight in a great war. Suddenly a dark green-skinned, shrivelled zombie attacked him like a lion in a battle. Following that was a white bony skeleton armed with a bow. Ambushing from behind were two dark hairy spiders with eyes like big red rubies. So with many strong swings and spiteful doges he defeated his foes and started to head back to his book but before he made a step he saw the sun start to rise so he then grabbed some torches and a pickaxe and went into a cave and mined what he could until night started to hit.

    When he got back home he looked through what he mined and found some strange shards in five different colours but Steve could tell there was something about them and he was right!

    He went through to the library to look through the strange book from before and found the 5 strange shards he mined the vis shard, air shard, water shard, fire shard and earth shard .

    With these shards he was apparently able to make so powerful equipment but he could not find anything else in the book but then he remembered the note on the book “research and complete” so did exactly that.

    He read through the book once more very quickly and he crafted some ‘Scribing tools’ which he would use with 2 special tables and with that he made a ‘Research table’ but he needed a source of paper.

    He went to go find some sugar cane that would provide his paper source especially since he can plant some on the lakeside so they will grow more.

    After a while he found what he was looking for.

    As Steve continued to read the mysterious book for information on how he was going to pursue any research. Then he found it “to research what you are looking for you must sacrifice what could be of use and possibly more” so with a persistent soul he did what he could.

    He snatched some coal from his supply chest and some gunpowder from the brightly skinned and explosive creature he killed while mining and then he understood what he had to do then on.

    As he continued to research intensively he discovered a recipe to something ‘alimentium-an unstable fuel source’ but he wasn’t done yet as he quickly grabbed some more coal.

    Sadly he ran out of gunpowder but he accidentally knocked a torch off his wall and it fell on his research table luckily the flame on the torch burnt out and he found the aspect of lux from the torch and the added the coal to the research and found another recipe but this recipe was different it was the recipe for ‘nitor-an ever burning flame powered by the flux in the atmosphere’ but the scroll with the recipe and information disintegrated into magical dust and the other scroll too. But the magical dust flew into the book he always read and as he checked it the recipes were both in the book.

    After that Steve named the book the ‘Thauminomicon’. For some reason he did not know. It just came into his head but after that he became tired and went to find his bed.

    The sun rose and as Steve woke up he noticed that he had a beautiful view from his bedroom that overlooked the lake.

    Steve got out of bed and went back to the research table and continued the research he was pursuing.

    After a while he came to another breakthrough and found gold ‘transmutation-gives you the ability to turn metals into gold’.

    When Steve read the information that it gave him he wanted to continue down that path and found tin transmutation, iron transmutation, lead transmutation, silver transmutation and copper transmutation.

    Steve liked the sound of what he researched but he didn’t want to use it so he continued to his research.

    It took him a long time to get his next discovery but when he did it read ‘thaumium ingot-an ingot made out of pure magic’ but then he realised that to make the things that he discovered he would need a crucible.

    So he went and grabbed some iron, made a cauldron and placed it over a lava pit but it wasn’t working so he grabbed his wand and used it on the cauldron and just like magic it turned into the crucible.

    He filled the crucible and in a few seconds the water started to boil endlessly and with that he added some coal and a spare torch and with a hit of his wand some newly created nitor arose from the crucible and as he did he felt something changed in the atmosphere but he did not pay too much attention to it yet he should of.

    he carried on with his mystical research and found some magical building blocks that would create his new infusing table that allow him to create more powerful objects but he noticed the it need some aspects like the one’s on the items he research’s and the one’s he puts into his crucible but he read through his book and found nothing to create in his newly built table but that didn’t stop him researching anything so as normal he continued.

    Finally another breakthrough Steve luckily found the unidentified thaumic field theory which allowed him to upgrade his wand of apprentice to the wand of adept he was excited because now he has more energy to create more things in his infusing table because just after Steve found the breakthrough he found the discovery for the “wand of excavation” and he wanted to make that so much he could just burst but that wasn’t the only thing that could burst as he was jumping around with joy he knocked the alimentium he made a long time ago and it exploded but it opened up a hole in the floor to a new cave system so this would be the perfect opportunity to test the wand of excavation so he made it as quick as he could and ran down to the cave and he was down there for a very long time and when he came back nothing but minerals, ores and gems and so he was more prepared than ever for his research so has continued as usual and didn’t stop till something interested him but then something did.

    He found the arcane base but he didn’t find a use for it for some reason so he continued but he discovered the use of the arcane base the thing he found was called the arcane bore which needs the arcane base to make it work so he placed them both together and put his wand of excavation in the front and placed a pickaxe inside the arcane bore and a chest behind the arcane base and set it to work and see what it does.

    a good thing it was outside because it is a mining tool and it went ahead and started to mine and a convenient his pickaxe was enchanted with fortune because now the arcane bore gathers more materials then mined so as he let it run and after a while he would go and grab some stuff out of the chest and take them back home for more research to be done and they he discovered golemmancy and kept researching because he wondered what these golems are.

    Finally he found them but there is 5 of them and he only found one the “wooden golem-a little servant that will pick up items and place them in a chest that can he can find and long as there is a marker place next to it” and so he thought of the words little servant and smiled with the thought of having a servant but he wanted to find the other four golems so he can find out what they will do for him once he finds them But again he carried on to his usual research one day he will finish that book but his day was busy so he went to bed and hoped he would have nice dreams.

    As he woke up the next morning and instead of research he went for a walk and found a village but in the village he found a strange building and spoke to the villager inside and he said he would trade three pieces of amber each for one knowledge fragment and he wondered what they would do for him so he bought some from him and left.

    he went home read his book about them and when he did he found that with nine knowledge fragments he would make a research note so he did what it told him to do and he continued the research that was already done and discovered an accessory for his golem and this one was goggles but he didn’t make any yet since he doesn’t have a golem.

    Now Steve carried on with the research and with the amount of aspects he is discovering on this piece of research he thought it would never end but finally it did and he found the “theory of everything” and with that he finished up his research there might but a tiny bit more discovery’s to find but through that long session he wanted to stop and it was a bit early so he had a look around his house and thought it looked plain.

    he wanted to get a renovation for his house but maybe a “magical” one so he quickly made some warded glass stone and doors and replaced every block on the outside of his house and replaced them with warded stone the windows with warded windows and the same with the doors so when he was finished replaced all the items back into his house and looked at his house from the outside and admired it and was proud of his beautiful work but with all that hard work today he went to bed.

    He arose from his bed and looked around and saw his beautiful room and he remotely sad that he had to get out of bed for his research but he remembered there is still little research to do hopefully but as he thought that he remembered again that the knowledge fragments that give him those accessories for golems and sighed like it was burden but with courage he continued but only stopped for the important parts and with many long days he finished his research and when he did he went to his room and fell on his bed and slept for days and days on.

    As many days went past Steve was completing his research for that book and now he has finished and ever since he has been playing with everything he researched and the fun he had while building was wands of: fire, frost, excavation, lightning and equal trade just to create tool that need the wands to make and they are: axe of the stream, pickaxe of the core, shovel of renewal, sword of the zephyr and hoe of the mystic but he has the best time with his new golems he made a spawner of cows, pigs and chickens and with his iron golems with smart animation cores he sends them to kill the pigs, cows and chickens and he sends a wooden golem to go and collect the meat from them.

    also a straw golem to go farming wheat, sugarcane, melons and pumpkins and another wooden golem to collect it all and the time he has been having with the allow golems he gave one a bucket and another glass phials the first one will refill his crucible with water and the second to essences from his new alembics that gaffer essences left over from making stuff in his crucible but it not only golems he has also been having a hard time moving aura nodes closer to his house but someone has got to do it because his golems can’t.

    as Steve carry’s on with his day doing random magic but that’s how he likes it but all this came from one book in that small library Steve wonders what else could be in those books so he runs back with his boots of the traveller and look at the library astounded and he saw all the books and their interesting titles: industrialcraft, forestry, redpower, mystcraft, MFFS, thermal expansion and buildcraft but all these books makes Steve think “can I do this?”

    if you have multiMC create a new instance called technicssp or what ever then click start if on windows 7 type in %appdata% then find your .technic launcher go inside it find your technicssp folder then look inside that copy the contence run your new instance on multiMC then close it look inside the folder on your new instance go to .minecraft the delete every thing inside it then paste the contence of the technicssp folder inside the .minecraft

    download direwolfs latest world then replace your config folder with the config in direwolfs world
