Also, if this mod is going to be a thing, I suggest the mod team use a thing called LLibrary. It's a really cool addition to modding. If you want the details, just go to this link:
I'm working on the bucket head right now but should zombies only be able to wear it or can other mobs/players wear it too? And can the players craft it?
I'm thinking of either making a Bucket Head zombie with 40 HP (Twice the health) and a iron helmet defense(i think it's just 2/20 defense points)
And when they die the helmet dies with them
Or just a normal zombie with a Bucket helmet and 2/20 defense points
Ok cool. I like the idea of the bucket zombie having more health, but I do think the bucket zombie should have more like around 5/20 defense points (this wouldn't be for players, who would just get 2/20 protection). It would kind of be meant as an easter egg. As for if the bucket is wearable or not for other players, maybe there could be a mechanic where all regular vanilla buckets are wearable. Go ahead and tweak these ideas if you like. Really appreciate it
First thing I want to say is, I love this mod to death. Really there's no limit to what you can do with it. Second off, does anyone have a way of getting an npc to throw potions as weapons like a witch? I assume it would have to be custom coding (which I can't do at all ;-;)
Wow this is a really cool mod idea, i'm totally going to try to do it but it may take a while. I'm starting on the easy stuff first but if you want me to do something else first or something tell me but I really like this mod(idea).
Oh and a side note or something, I'm still learning java/modding so I've only made like 3 mods: the first one was just a copy/paste of a tutorial and I didn't really learn or did anything all I did was change some stuff(and I accidently messed it up and deleted it -_-),the second one was a gun mod and I never finished it because I didn't know how to make it shoot, and the second one is a secret since i'm still working on it but it's REALLY complicated and hard...So I suck at making mods but every expert was once an newb rite?
And the picture is a bit weird, just saying
Finally, someone found this post. XD And absolutely, go ahead and see what you can do with these ideas, and make sure to keep me posted. (and lol I know the picture was weird, went ahead and changed it)

Did some researching and it's recommended to delete your options.txt file, something to do with render distance from 1.8 being higher than older versions can handle. Hope that's what it is!
Gonna try that now, if it doesn't work I guess I'll reinstall and see what happens D:

Ok, so I have a crash report for anyone who wants to help. I don't have any mods whatsoever installed, and I don't have any saves whatsoever. I've run out of ideas. ;-; Just wondering if Bob Mowzie or someone else who is knowledgeable in this kind of thing could help me solve this issue
He'll be adding tribesmen in savanna biomes, and possibly the stalker mob to rival them. From there, who knows? I would think (hope) it would be the frostmaw. If you don't know what any of this is just check the first page

Here's a cool squid model from techne I found:
http://techne.zeux.me/34fad4c0
Oh, and a cool submarine model by the same guy:
http://techne.zeux.me/70942630
It looks like this guy had some good plans for a mod, but abandoned it entirely.

I seriously support this idea :3

I think this is the only mod forum post i have ever seen where this many people post ideas this often.... Not sure if good or bad

I like the picture, but it sounds a little overpowered.

Guess that'll be my only option if the options.txt file deletion doesn't work. :/ Hopefully that does the trick.
