I would love to help you run the server, although some more elaborate details would be appreciated.
I used to run my own SMP server with hMod so im very familiar with troubleshooting and just general server maintenance.

I don't know much about running a server, but maybe if you post what you've done so far to set up this server someone would be able to help. You also might be able to find a way to fix it just by trying to explain it. That is usually an effective way to debug a program, so I would guess it would also help with this.

A bit about BuildCraft?
BuildCraft is a MineCraft Survival Multiplayer Server which have been running for quite a while now.
The buildCraft community has been growing, and it still is!
This server has been running since [Sun Nov 14, 2010]
BuildCraft is a vanilla-ish based server, which means don't ask Admins, moderators, or BuildCraft Donor ranks for items or blocks, the answer it clear, find and make it yourself.
Otherwise than just vanilla, this server is offering gameplay 24/7!
Lately the BuildCraft community has been having a few contests, and so on.
If you're skilled with photoshop or anything related, this might give you an higher chance to win the great BuildCraft rewards.

Server
We're trying to do a server restart each day to avoid the server getting buggy, and also to keep the computer this server is hosted on up to date.
A update usually takes about 1- 5 minutes.
Server plugins
i'm not going to add a list of plugins because this is a vanilla server, so plugins related to make it more vanilla-ish, is added.
Server Host
This server is currently hosted on the following secifics
Ram: 4GB
Cpu: 2,6GHz
Op: Windows 7
And also be clear of this computer is only hosting the server, nothing else is done on this computer exept adding/removing plugins and updating the server softwares.
So this computer works and runs like a private dedicated hosting service.
EDIT: A new dedicated server might be added after Christmas!
BuildCraft Staff
The BuildCraft community has been having lots of problems with griefers lately, not no more.
And this will explain why and how.
Like a first look into BuildCraft you will be spawned as a default member. BuildCraft's default members won't be able to build ingame until being promoted. When a player is promoted, the player will be watched until we know the player is trustable.
The good thing about watching a player, is that we can easily removed the player's/griefers actions since the player got watched. This way the server won't be griefed in any sort of way, and no damage can be done.
Enough about that, now back to the Offical BuildCraft Staff members.
The current and the only owner of BuildCraft is widomz (me)
Current admins is:
Admins needed.
New plans for group system is coming.
I'm planing to make a political and job system for this server, which means there will be Police, Thief, Wood Choopers, Dirt diggers, Stone miners, explorers and so on. Each job and be applied on at xtremetop. Not in use yet!
Joining the server?
The good thing about BuildCraft is that there is no whitelist.
Which means no applications for being able to play is needed.
But be clear of a few things, a first look at the server, you will be spawned as a Default member. Which needs to be ranked by our admins or by our futured Ranker group
Otherwise please take some time to regiester at http://www.xtremetop.net
Note: This is not needed, but it's recommed.
Then when that is done, Connnect to the server at the following ip address
