I knew just punching the seed in didn't give you the same seed, but I didn't know if you ran Minecraft in an older version, like 1.5.2 or something like that, it would get you the same world. Or if there was some kind of converter you could use to to punch in an XB1 seed and it would give you the seed equivalent of the PC version.

Hi there, I was wondering if there is a way to recreate a seed on the Xbox One to the PC version? I'm not looking to port my entire world over, just to recreate the same seed. I tried just retyping the seed in, but that didn't work. Do I need to launch the PC version in an older version, or is there a program I can punch my XB1 seed into that will give me the equivalent seed for the PC? Or is it just not possible?
Any help would be appreciated!

Dang, if I had known that, I wouldn't have wasted the $2.99 and downloaded it to my 360, and would've just waited for it to release and bought it on Xbox One instead. Was hoping to have the content available on both systems like everything else I bought.
Oct 31, 2014Has anyone else had the issue where they bought the skin pack on Xbox 360, and it still wants to charge them the $2.99 to buy it on Xbox One. I thought if you bought content on Xbox 360, you got to download it for free on Xbox One? Does that only apply to items downloaded before the Xbox One version released or did did my account just glitch?Posted in: MCXONE: Discussion

The only downside is the lack of temples, but aside from that it is really awesome.Posted in: Minecraft: Editions Seeds
