It is kind of useful because a lot more people are building mob farms these days with the old dungeons with the spawners, and if they get a spider spawner Bane of Arthropods is very useful.
I'm sure some people don't do it on purpose, but could the new people on the forums stop putting in things like "check out this epic minecraft video! You wouldn't dare!" and then putting in a link. The link's just gonna get removed so there's no point in putting it in. It's also very annoying if the discussion actually sounds interesting. Basically all I'm saying is stop putting up links.
I wouldn't say I'm much of a veteran but I've been playing since 1.7.2 which is still relatively old. I know basically everything there is about the game though, but then again, once something about Minecraft pops into your head that you didn't know before, you're probably not going to forget it that easily!
The easiest way to kill him is to make a bow and shoot him from a few blocks above ground level so he can't get to you. Or if you have knockback you get hit him away from you before he can hit you with his axe.
You can use golden apples. l usually get apples by trade from a villager, and then using gold ingots, I turn it into a golden apple. (I have a Gold & XP farm) . Golden apple gives you Absorption for 2 minutes, and Regeneration for 5 seconds (not that good).
You could even use Notch apples if you're lucky enough to have found any
There's an easy way to find hidden rooms in a stronghold. You just have to mine 2 blocks into the wall and see if there's another room there, since there are only 1 block gaps between rooms in a stronghold. I've seen it used before by Philza and works great!
This is a feature which doesn't exist in bedrock edition, which is weird.
But, I agree. Even in Java where they can be used, they did burn through their fuel too quickly, and now that Drowned Zombies practically give you unlimited amounts of gold it wouldn't be that hard to setup a powered rail system.
What's even worse is now normal rails with their abundance in abandoned mineshafts, don't have much use other than making corner turns for the powered rail system, or to make powered rail systems more efficient at the cost of speed.
The Minecart with furnace should be put into bedrock edition,
and in Java edition they certainly do need a buff, their fuel should last at minimum about 3x as long as it does now.
Otherwise no one will use them because of how inferior and inconvenient they are compared to automated or semi automated powered rail systems.
The only reason it's not in Bedrock is because Mojang themselves thought it was useless so they didn't bother adding it to that version

Try to clear out an ocean monument with sand and sponges and make a guardian farm. Useful and cool!

It is up to the player in my opinion. If someone doesn't like using iron farms then they don't have to

Man that would be so cool. It would make the new caves so much better. I love hearing peoples cool ideas.

I don't really play on Java much but there might be a way of turning the bar off completely in the settings? I'm only guessing tho

R U Willbur Soot? This sounds like something he would do

If the screenshoot you're sending to us looks absolutely fine, it might be a problem with the screen itself, not the game.

I just wanted to see which music disc is most popular. My favourite disc is definitely Chirp but Stal is a close 2nd

If there is a village on the island that could explain why they are spawning since zombie sieges happen but if not I have no idea how they would spawn
