I've wanted to learn how to program for a while know, and recently i've gotten the strength to go and research how, I figured that it would be easier to make a mod rather then a game because I would be building of an Idea of someone else, so I thought what would be the best and easiest game to make a mod of? And I figured minecraft because the Community is so awesome.
So basically I just want to know what is the best Java IDE to make minecraft mods, and any Pointers would be nice!
I have an Apple Time Capsule and I'm trying to host a minecraft server! I tried everything but it still doesn't work! Please help i have a macbook pro 1st gen and Version 10.6.8!
As the title implies, I -Like many others- need help hosting a minecraft server! The main problem i have is that, I dont understand why its not working! I've followed the instructions, and it still isnt working! I think the problem is, is that i havent created a static IP yet! Sadly, i dont know how! So if you could please help me get my server running, i would thank you profoundly!
Here are the specs for everything:
Router: Netgear WGR614v9
And the computer i want to make a static ip for is a Macbook, os 10.6.8!

And it is a security risk to give strangers access via Hamachi + it will add an additional delay, use port forward instead (TCP 25565).

I am trying to host a free build server! So far i can connect and all my mods work! But i have had problems with people from other countries, they cant seem to connect! All i need is someone who can monitor the server while im offline and to help me test my server! When everything is working, we will release it too the world! Hopefully we can have enough people in the server to join competitions and to just have a kick ass server!
Please tell me if you want to join with your minecraft username so i can whitelist you!
(White List will only be on while trying to fix the server)
