    Because a Queen could defend herself or run away, while a normal spawner couldn't, also it means the myrmex don't only spawn in one location the can spawn in lots depending on how much the queen wonders about.


    I'm not suggesting a mob spawner. By spawn I mean to simply appear, like a pig or sheep will in a field. No spawner required. Also, making myrmex nomadic, as you suggest by making the queen the spawner, you are making the myrmex less ant-like. I believe it not detrimental but IMPORTANT that the myrmex spawns only in these subterranean anthill-like areas. They need no queen. It would be boring, (would look a lot like the normal myrmex), and a waste of coding time. No queen needed for anything that would make the myrmex unique, and a queen would not even enhance gameplay (what's so fun about it).

    I like this. It may not have many SSP uses, but think about how you could use it in SMP to signify what city you were from, or what side you were on in a war or sport!

    Yes, but wouldn't it be useful (especially in SMP) to be able to signify what group you were part of WITHOUT having to change your skin. Sure, everyone on the server could edit their skins to match. But what if you play on 3 servers?

    I like the idea. Making it possible to dye things besides wool and sheep (cake, beds, books, etc.) has always seemed a good idea to me. Practical Application? Give me the practical application of dyes in the 1st place! They look nice and make the game more fun. Not every suggestion has to have an original application. Especially if the suggestion doesn't add entire new blocks like ores and things.
