Warning! Fortune telling spoilers below. It is much more fun to be surprised by the crystal ball your first playthrough. Only click if you have already messed around with fortune telling, and want a detailed description of what each fortune actually does.
I've been noting down any discoveries I make in notepad over the past few weeks. Here is the information I've compiled so far.

Note: I haven't bothered to decompile the mod and look at the code (where's the fun in that? :P ), so these descriptions may not be entirely accurate.

You will find a cache of coal. -> Chance of extra coal when mining coal ore. Tested 17-19 extra coal when mining a coal ore.
You will encounter a walking tree. -> An Ent will soon spawn nearby.
You have angered the crone (and her sisters). -> Babba Yaga will soon come for you. Be prepared for a fight.
You will stumble and fall. -> A 3x3 pit 5 blocks deep will open up beneath you. You will land on a bed of gravel.
You will get wet. -> Find some water quickly, or the water will find you. Spawns a 3x3 pool of water, above a bed of gravel, beneath you.
You will be inundated with iron. -> Chance of an extra iron ore when mining iron. A stack of 64 yielded 13 extra ore.
You will chance upon the undead. -> A zombie will soon spawn.
You will be saved by a stranger. -> A minion of the Horned One, a wolf with glowing red eyes, will appear and defend you, or an owl will appear to defend you when you are attacked by a player.
You will be struck by an arrow. -> A skeleton will soon spawn. Bring a flak jacket.
You will find a buried treasure. -> You will find a dungeon chest under a dirt block that you dig.
You will take a trip to the nether. -> A demon has been watching you and transposed you to the nether. -> A blaze spawns nearby.
You will make a new friend. -> A friendly wolf will soon spawn nearby.
You will find shinies. -> You will find emeralds while mining stone.

I've also found that it is a lot more enjoyable to flavor the fortunes when you go around reading other players on the server. For example, when reading the cache of coal, rather than saying "You'll get about 15 more coal when you mine a coal ore." Tell them something along the lines of "I see your hands are strong and square from days working in the mine. Bring deeper pockets on your next trip; this dedication will soon pay off."

Back to the crystal ball again...

So i've been waiting to be 'inundated with iron'.... will it be molten? (since i'm running tinker's construct....)

Here's a hint. Try mining some iron ore. You may find more than you expected.

Also, perhaps it's possible to squeeze this into the 0.13.1 release. The half slab recipes for Hawthorn, Alder, and Rowan planks return oak wood slabs instead. This was tested in version 0.13.0 with only witchery installed.

Got a small bug report for you Emoniph,

Due to the implementation of minecraft's brewing system, depending on the order you add components, two identical potions can have very different item values. This is the case when making dream weavers. The crafting recipie requests for example, an extended splash potion of slowness.

If you add a fermented spider eye to a extended potion of swiftness first, followed by gunpowder you get item 373:16458 which works in the recipie. If you reverse the order, adding gunpowder first then corrupting the splash potion of swiftness, you get item 373:24650 which does not work in the crafting recipie.

This is only the case for the dream weaver of Iron Arm, and Fleet Foot. The dream weaver of Fasting has both recipies already.

On another note, might I suggest that the broom be the tool of choice for cleaning up ritual circles. The glyphs only take a short while to mine with a pickaxe, yet with the number of glyps in a circle, that can definitely add up.

I had an idea for the leach chest, instead of acting like a trapped chest (emitting a redstone signal based on how many people are opening it) it should emit a redstone signal based on how many taglocks are currently stored in it's inventory.

This allows me to set up an apothacary were people place into leech chests written books with their name, payment, and type of poppet they want. When a leach chest fills up, I can have it flip an RS-Nor latch and turn off a redstone lamp, directing people to use a different chest.

I can them come by later, collect the taglocks, make the poppets, and deliver them to their respective customers.

I've started to note down any spell shapes I discover. If you find any more, feel free to quote this post and add them.

Expelliarmus - Up 2 or more and then down to center
Have not tested this one, but I'm guessing it disarms another player, and maybe knocks armor off zombies

Protego - Down 2 or more and then up to center
You must be looking at a block near you. Casting this spell will create a 3x3 wall of light in front of you for a short time

Flipendo - Right 2 or more and then left to center
A powerful knockback effect allowing the witch or wizard a chance to run away from hostile mobs. Alternatively, gather some friends and a few chickens and play some rounds of cluck-cluck-golf

Impedimenta - Left 2 or more and then right to center
Impede your foes by casting slowness for 30 seconds on them. A more practical use however, is to ensure your golf balls don't run away!

    Lumos - Down 3, Right 1
Fire a projectile that burst into light when it hits a surface. The light has the same illumination as a torch.

    Confundus - Left 2 or 3, Up 2 or 3, Right 1 or 2 (make a C)
Confound you enemies allowing for an easy escape or an opening for a devastating attack. Causes Nausea for 30 seconds.

Cave Imicium - Up 1, Left 1 or 2, Up 2 or 3, Right 1 or 2 (make a C with the first motion pointing up)
Use your magic to harden and strengthen objects around you. Particularly useful to confounded those pesky creepers and zombies. Turns dirt, cobble, and mycelium to stone, sand to sandstone, and wooden doors to iron doors.

    Defodio - Up 1 to 4, Left 1 or 2, Down 1 to 3
Blast a block with magic! Digs blocks that the projectile hits. The range of blocks that can be dug is limited.

    Aguamenti - Up 2 or 3, Right 2 or 3, Down 1 or 2
Summoning water is one of the first talents learned by aspiring Witches and Warlocks. A water source block is created wherever the projectile hits.

    Incendio - Left 1, Up 4
Debilitating your opponent by making them vomit up slugs is all good and well, but there are some things only raw fire power will solve. Any block hit by this projectile will burst into flames, the same can be said for any player or mob hit as well!

    Colloportus - Left 2, Down 2 or 3, Right 1
Keep those pesky kids out of your workshop. Turns any door into a rowan wood door.

    Alohomora - Right 1, Up 1 or 2, Right 2 or 3, Down 1 or 2
Respecting the rules keeps you out of trouble, but breaking them can be a lot more fun! Unlocks all doors, even those locked with the Colloportus effect.

    The Unforgivable Curses
    (Requires the Infernal Infusion.)

    Imperio - Right 1, Down 4
A truly terrible spell only practiced by the darkest witches and wizards among us. Those under its curse, stripped of all free will, are forced to do their master's bidding. It is a projectile version of the Shift-Left click function of the witch's hand. Left clicking any mob with the witch's hand will cause all mobs under the Imperio curse to attack that mob.

    Crucio - Down 1, Left 2, Down 2, Right 2
This spell is the embodiment of hatred and anger. Its only use is to inflict extreme pain upon those around you. Being caught under this curse is truly one of the worst ways to die. This spell deals 4 points of damage to the mob or player hit.

Edit: Fixed a few inaccuracies. Thanks Emoniph :)

I've been thinking. There really arn't too many hats and robes available for golems currently. It would be absolutly adorable if I could give little witch/wizard hats to my minions to help in witchery related tasks. :)

Tiny Witch Hat - Similar effect as the regular witch hat when brewing in the kettle.
Tiny Warlock Robes - Altar power discount for items placed in the circle by this golem

Infusion of Nature - Golems and stone giants are usually portrayed with plants and moss growing on them in many works of fiction. This infusion requires mossy cobble stone, vines, hint of rebirth, and the golem you wish to infuse. The resulting golem is covered in moss and gains a few benefits based on how much natury blocks are nearby. A few good ones might be regeneration, occasionally apply bonemeal in the area around itself, and/or turn into random plant/sapling/tree upon death. (I particularly like the last one)

Also, I just wanted to say amazing work on this mod. It is by far one of my favorites up there with Thaumcraft and Ars Magica.

Why don't we just add on "death plus 70 years" while we're at it? This whole thread saddens me deeply.

For the morph mod, couldn't we just set this to 0?

    gameplay{
    # Enable abilities?
    # 0 = No
    # 1 = Yes
    I:abilities=1
    }

Hmm, I may have just crashed the server. I found a red block that was created during the water guardian fight. When you mine it, lightning strikes and insta-kills you. When you right click it, the server crashes.
