    posted a message on need help kicking / disallowing login on server

    so ive figured out how to detect what server a player is joining into however i cannot seem to cancel the login / kick the player successfully with PlayerLoggedInEvent. canceling the event just errors and throws cannot cancel a uncancelable event any ideas?

    need to change it so it returns prop.consumemana

    is it printing out that the item was successfully used

    just by looking at the code. not 100% of your system as mine is so different but wouldnt this.syncmana need to be true?

    as from what i can see that is used when sending it to the packet? if im totally wrong its all good but it seems something is not updating or being sent through

    i havent gone past 1.7.10 for modding but its as easy as


    item1= new youritem(youritemID).setTextureName(texturename);

    item2= new youritem(youritemID).setTextureName(texturename);


    you just make multiple instances of the item/block in your registry

    im not sure with 1.8.9 but in 1.7.10 you do all your rendering in the client proxy not the common(server) proxy. not sure if it changed in 1.8.9 but try swapping the stuff into the client proxy

    you can try checking if the song is playing and then cancel it then activate the song again that way any song playing will stop first

    youll just need to make a subscribe event that detects when e is pressed and have an if statement to if riding your entity cancel player inventory and put the entity's up then an else statement to just return player inventory if not riding.


    or another way is just assigning a keybind for a different button to open inventory of entity when looking at it

    We decided that with our classes and races that there is only going to be a few starting classes for each race and the rest you gain in the world, keeping it a secret how atm ;) spent the last week merging my other FF mod with this one and finally got it finished,i did this to incorporate the stats on the 4000 or so different armor items we have. also added in different elemental damage stats that give damage boosts. next thing ill be coding is weaknesses to said elemental types ie fire weak against water. first two pics are drafts of the Class screens.

    your best bet would be custom npcs , you can choose any model that has been registered as the model, it takes the animations from that model also. the downside is you have to set them up your self. they wont talk to eachother however you can set it so if you walk within a certain range of them that they will say what you want so you could simulate conversation between npcs but it will be the same each time ( newer versions may have more options i havent used it in a while)

    as a modder, this is a valid idea but a major headache as you would essentially have to create a fully Self aware ai for it to become unpredictable and be a lifelike survivor. the only other problem with it is that for them to be active and working they would have to stay chunk loaded and then every one of them in the world would stay loaded causing lag


    the closest thing i have seen like this is customnpcs but you have to setup the pathing, lines they say etc. but once setup it is pretty neat. last version i played with didnt allow gathering but the copy i got is a very old copy so you might have luck
