hey y'all where is mod MR is it the meta rotation folder? iv had 3 worlds that get to some random point then does the saving chunks then black screen crash help please

Ok guys need a bit of help i found minecraft.jar and i want to instal modloader[V1.5_01] but i caint get the jar file to open in winzip to put the class files in Im probably missing something simple but i caint figure it out all i can get it to do is compress the jar not open it help please

Edit: never mind yall i think i figured it out

i copied the content of the zip into the bin i didnt put the whole zip into the bin i did read the installation instructions and followed them my problem is nothing happened after i did

I copied modloader's zip file into my .mincraft bin to run with more ores mod and minecolony i log into minecraft in a new world and nothing has changed i go through the caves on seed 404 and try to craft them new item and nothing happens am i missing something help please Oh and i can not find the META-INF anywhere

I need some help. every since beta 1.3_01 my nether portals will not work. I built both types several times i light it with the flint and steel a fire starts no portal pops up. two seconds later fire goes out. i try it several times on each type on each of the different types of blocks, with the Pexludi texture pack and on the the default texture even on all the different difficulties nothing i do makes the portals work. My os is windows vista and java is updated. If anybody knows how to fix it or have any advice ill give lots of
