Hey Greg, thanks so much for the 1.10.2 update, loving it! Quick question - is it no longer possible to use the augment structures option in the config files?
I tried running the game multiple times with only SGcraft installed and every time I tried to load/create a world with 'augmentstructures = true" the world would not load and mine craft would freeze up.
Just curious if you intend to remove that feature. I know that the last version (1.8.9) did still allow for the hidden gate rooms, but the center block was always spawned in as a cheveron block rather than a control block, so the gate was always malformed, but again, that was the last version. Just hoping for that to still be an option in the latest version, if it is possible.
@upinout JEI is the i.8.9 + replacement (temporary we hope) for NEI, Not Enough Items by Chickenbones. Basically a mod that allows you to view recipies, uses and even collect EVERY block/item in the game.
but the real question is did you remove that mod and try and see if the simple dimensions and sgcraft mods work together for you without that mod installed. LIke I said I had both mods (along with gregs architecture mod) running on single player and on my server with no issues like what you described.
I would say to test again without JEI (Whatever that is). I've used both SGcraft and simple dimensions together on both single player and on my server with no issues. Gates are buildable and usable in my extra dimensions.
I'm a big fan of your stargate mod so I decided to give this a try and I love it! Out of curiosity, is it possible to add the ability to the workbench to make stairs and/or slabs out of blocks that don't usually have those options?
I'm not worried about how well people build or anything like that, my only concern is maturity, so I'm looking for folks 16 and up. I'm just looking for some others who want to have fun playing minecraft with stargates.
I am open to other mods if anyone has any suggestions, but I do not want to add any large mod packs like feed the beast.

Ooh, a malp would be really cool. I'm curious how you would implement that. Would there be some sort of moniter tied to the robot that would broadcast imagery from the other side of the gate?

It's been about 5 months now since I last asked...
I'm still eagerly waiting for an update for 1.8. Last time I asked, you mentioned that you wanted to finish updating a different mod first, and that this one would likely be next. I saw that you did indeed put out a new 1.8 mod a month ago or so.
So I'm once again asking, is a 1.8 update for this mod still in the cards, or is this mod now officially dead? I know 1.9 is right around the corner, but I'm still hoping for a 1.8 version.

DImensionsHD, I'm really sorry, but I'm just not comfortable playing with minors. It's not just about maturity, it's also due to the fact that adult conversations may arise and I don't want someone's angry mom getting her panties in a bunch over what her kid is exposed to.

If by crafting mode, you mean creative mode.. The stargate items are in the misc. tab.
