    What world type do I use to setup a server using Biospheres?


    EDIT: For anyone who is interested, set the server worldtype to BIOSPHERES. You will probably spawn on top of a biosphere or in the void area. Just keep trying and I hope you aren't playing on Hardcore!

    I thought this mod allowed the use of Tinker's Construct tools in the various machines. Is there a config option that has to be added for this to work? Right now, my Wooden Miner will only take a vanilla pickaxe and shovel.

    I have the latest version of Tinker's Construct for MC v1.7.2 (latest as of 04/19/14, anyway) and the latest version of Treecapitator. Hatchets and Mattocks do not register as being 'axes' for the purpose of Treecapitator. Is this something TConstruct needs to set or something on the Treecapitator side?

    DISCLOSURE: I have a support ticket open with Vortex Servers for a different matter than what I mention here.

    I had a Minecraft account setup on Vortex servers and I experienced massive lag spikes throughout the night while playing. I figure it is due to high traffic on other of their servers. My server was a 4GB (80 slot) server with just three people playing. I did not submit a report about the lag, because I was going to be cancelling the service anyway.

    Their customer service has been very helpful with other issues (even when I might have come across as a little belligerent.) I hope to get my current issue with them resolved soon.

    I think Natura adds in the various Gravel-ores, so having Natura installed is what gives Aluminum-Gravel ore, for instance. I could be way off, but I'm pretty sure that's the case.

    Use your Google-fu and find out how to setup a server. Then, use your common-sense-fu and add these mods onto your server, just like you would for your single-player game.

    Again, Google is your friend and would be faster than someone on here trying to explain it to you (since it's already been explained somewhere on the internet, anyway.)

    Are you sure it is affecting all vanilla metals and not just iron? If it's affecting *only iron* then check your version of IC2. I don't know if the newest versions corrected the issue but around the version where they removed the Refined Iron ingot recipe, I noticed that my smeltery stopped working with Iron ingots, either smelting them or pouring them.

    I have a bug report up on their tracker, if you want to reference it.

    I believe the mattock is slightly slower and/or slightly less efficient at chopping down trees, when compared to an axe.

    Since that setup requires having killed a Wither already, I don't see why it would be OP for it to be able to kill one in one hit. Also, take into account that it requires lots of nether quartz, and I think it's a decent challenge to get it to that point.

    Please stop yelling "nerf" when something seems too strong. Only use "nerf" when an entire set or subset of something is broken. Do *not* use "nerf" simply because you think one item can be OP in one very specific instance.
