    you really should just code your own irc client for the server, its not that hard, and you'll avoid all the false positives.

    Yes, it is. In fact, its pretty much impossible to NOT know the attackers IP.

    so if you can't find it, Great job, you need to go to remedial computer classes.

    posted a message on Deleting 0kb files
    1. Right click on desktop and click refresh
    or, just to check if its actually there or not
    2. Run a linux live distro, goto where the file is located, and see if it is there. if it is, delete it. Linux doesn't care about windows file permissions.

    I am 15 and in school, we learned Visual Basic and Java. I would suggest Visual Basic for the beginning because then your programs that you write will have some interface to them from the start. Most language don't have that.

    It is exceptionally easy in Java though. For example, to make a window:
    import javax.swing.*;

    class MyApp
    {
       public static void main(String [] args)
       {
          JFrame frame = new JFrame("My Application");
          frame.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
          frame.setVisible(true);
       }
    }

    After that, you can easily add all sorts of components, and do all sorts of things. Netbeans (an IDE) even has a visual development suit for creating Java GUIs (though I personally stay away from those things...).

    Anyways, like I said before, I think you should pick a language that is fairly easy to use so that you can learn about various programming constructs, but as others have said, don't be shy about it.

    One of the great things about programming is that you never really use up any resources. When you paint, maybe you are a little apprehensive because you don't want to waste your paint or canvas. When you program, though, you can do whatever you want without that fear, since you never use anything up (aside from memory, but I don't suspect you will be making any huge programs right away).

    Visual basic you just drag and drop controls onto the form, no code involved. it generates it all for you.
    it also handles all the memory for you, no need for memory management crap.

    doing that sort of thing would just be a crapload simpler in 2 ways...

    1. D3 software /rbox
    2. Me programming it into the bot, not scripted.

    -- also, sorry for the lack of a decent guide or readme.. can't exactly write one up right now, I'm busy getting ready for a competition in washington D.C., I'm part of a team that is in the top 12 nationwide for cybersecurity. (high school)
