Do you even have any idea how far 200,000 blocks is, let alone 30,000?
If you were to fully explore a 400000x400000 block area (200000 from the center) you'd generate 625 million chunks - my largest world is only 109000 chunks and takes up 525 MB of disk space - that's 2.87 TERABYTES. Want to map out your world? You'll need a map wall that is 196x196 level 4 maps - you'll have to place the bottom below sea level if you want to fit it within the height limit. I seriously doubt that any real survival player has ever explored that big of an area.
No, I do not hope this will ever make it into the game; I already gave up on official updates 5 years ago and went off to develop my own game (as much as it can be called such as it is still based on Minecraft), and even with its biome generation I've never even seen a significant portion of all the biomes because there are so many and because even 1500 blocks is a lot, the most that I've ever gone from spawn in all but one world (played on for a third of a year of real time, and my playstyle is centered around exploration, if of the underground, so I only explore around 100 chunks, or 160x160 blocks, per play session - it took me 4 months of playing for 3.85 hours per day to find every type of cave in my last world, even though the rarest generates once every 16384 chunks, or only one level 4 map).
Even with the ability to configure this I still don't see why it should be added and not just alternately generate these biomes with their counterparts (50/50 chance of any instance of a biome being one of two types).
Nobody said that u need to explore the whole 40k by 40k area.
What you're saying is true, but I believe that they will eventually add it into the game, I really hope it will be added.
It will open so much new possibilitys.
For example: cross redstone lines(put redstone on a redstone and it won't connect together(what you said)), seperating the lines without it connecting.
As the observer was taken a lot of features in the 1.11/1.12(im not sure when the features was taken) such as instant wiring, detecting RS dust/lines from the blocks they are placed on, and so much more. If the director will really come out into Minecraft, It will give so much new options, and taking back stuff that was removed from the game, such as cross redstone lines that were possible when the observers came out.
What the redstone seperator/director does, is making your redstone lines not connecting together.
An existant example for it, is the redstone repeater.
The problem with a repeater using as a director is that it has 1 tick delay and sometimes you need to avoid these things in big contraptions and having to redesign all the contraption because you need your redstone directing somewhere without any delay.
This works pretty much like the repeater, but no delay, and doesn't renew your redstone signal.
Alternatively, mojang can add the option to dye redstone, and every redstone line in different colors will be seperated.
In my opinion, if they will make the option to dye redstone, more than 4 colors isn't necessary.
The reason why it isn't necessary is because the max amount of redstone dust surrounding a single redstone dust, is 4.
But although, some people might want all the 16 colors for decorating their redstone.
It isn't. If u were messing around with redstone for long enough u will know its impossible to do it without slimeblocks. This is helpful for so much circuits i can think of. For example piston doors, pistons as a floor and a way to get them activated, and so much other circuits.
This is working like redstone dust, but as a block.
Although, the redstone block we know today will change its name to Powered redstone block.
This idea can be extremely useful to transfer redstone pulses up/down easily and compactly.
The crafting recipe of the block will be 4 redstone dust in a shape of a cube.
The powered redstone block will change its crafting recipe to a redstone torch in the middle and redstone dust around it.
I think this block is going to be super useful if this block will make the way into the game, at so much things.
For example: a line of vertical pistons facing sideways, you will be able to activate by just putting those toggleable redstone blocks next the pistons and all these pistons will work properly without any delay.
To get the blocks activated, you need to put a redstone dust next to it and it will do its job.
The cons in the toggleable redstone blocks are the fact that they have a signal strength like redstone dust has.
This means that every 15 blocks you will need to stop your line of blocks, and place a repeater.
If your blocks are vertical, you will need to take the output from the block by redstone repeater, and try to connect it to another line of vertical toggleable redstone blocks.

Listen
ur idea is good and everything
but some of ur ideas are changing the game in a too major way that can ruin it

Nobody said that u need to explore the whole 40k by 40k area.
u can just continue travelling forward

This idea is really smart and I wait to see it added into minecraft.
Although, 16k blocks is not a lot. I think it should be at least 30k so it will be hard to travel there.
If it will come into minecraft, I will be glad to see Overworld-3 which is like 200k blocks away from 0, 0.
It will make minecraft a lot more interesting and fun to explore.
I hope it will make its way into minecraft. This idea is NEAT.

what is the point
buffet was made to put only 1 biome in your world
0
It wasn't added to the game
BECAUSE
IT WAS RUINING THE WHOLE SURVIVAL EXPERIENCE
IF U WANT STUFF QUICK JUST DO /GAMEMODE CREATIVE
P.S.
they will never add it into minecraft
There are basic red lines to minecraft.
When it comes to a point where its too easy, everyone will quit.

Nether portals are reliable because if this thing will be added, minecraft will be way too easy.
This is a fun experience linking them up, and without it, the nether will be a place that nobody goes to unless u need quartz or glowstone.
This is a really bad idea adding it.

If I am right, this type of village is really but really rare.
I tested it out on 1.13(pre3) and it doesn't seems to be the case.
I haven't tried it on 1.12.2 yet, but I will.
You got really lucky there bro!

here is the seed:
-5513470155992629957
The coordinates are x-1000 y(approx 70) z2100
You can do /locate Village to find the redwood taiga village.
(or just /tp -900 70 2300)
P.S. Not all of the village is inside of the redwood taiga biome, just half of it.

Hello there.
Nice idea indeed. I hope you can get it to minecraft.

redstone torch has a 1 tick delay
