I have a weird problem.
I followed your instructions, and it seems to work. Except that it does not create the infinite water...
I can craft the items, and rain spawns finite water.
Any idea what I need to do?
Edit: Got it to work when I installed the mod, then modloader then propertyread. all three into the .jar
and to net get the black screen I also had to have the mod in the mod folder as well.
Strange doings on a mac. :tongue.gif:
Now I just need to find a decent map-editor for mac so I can get the lovely water on my main map. hehe
Funny reading all this. Fun to see ignorant people. :tongue.gif:
Anyway...
I do believe people are biased from the same reason any groups are formed. It feels good to be a part of a group.
On both sides you will find the extremes, and they like to make themselves heard. Sadly they always try to present their view as absolute truth and fail to see that others may have different needs.
I work with computers, and my main hobby involves computers most of the time.
At work I use Windows 7, windows XP and Windows Server 2003 and 2008. And in a professional environment it is the best choice. The posibilities for ser control and access control is the best for that setting.
Windows 7 or XP for the "serious" gamer.
At home I use a mix of Win7, Linux and Mac depending on what computer I am on and for what use.
For you who wrote about the mouse and stuff.... Have you ever been closer to a mac than 100meters? They do have usb-ports you know. :wink.gif: Plug in a usb mouse with x-numer of buttons and of course you can use all of them. The mice you can buy for the macs does have more than one button, and a scroll wheel.
Why choose windows: It's easy to use, you can get all the applications you need for it and it has good support for a lot of hardware.
Why not choose windows: it has support for a lot of hardware, thus making the kernel (core) bulky and unstable because of all the drivers and weird considerations. The design is "stolen".
Why choose Mac: It's easy to use, you can get all the applications you need, and it is getting better support for games. It hardly ever crashes due to a very specific hardware and dirver setup.
Why not choose Mac: It does not support other hardware than what Apple chooses. The design is "stolen"
Haters will always hate the things they do not understand. And some of us actually checks out the field to find out what feels best for ourself. :wink.gif:
I suggest that the mods could take the time to fix spelling-errors en the subject of a thread. Especially in the suggestion section.
That would finding similar threads a little more possible.
Although it might not be possible to do with the amount of posts out there.
Maybe someone cold be granted that role?
For example it is hard to find a thread about pressure-plates if the thread has presser or preassure as the spelling. :wink.gif:

Would be nice to see a preview before downloading.

Planning to use Minecraft Forge?

Would you perhaps take a look at, and use the Minecraft Forge API.
That will ease the compatibility-issues. :biggrin.gif:

Also with the mortar one could use the flowers for better bread. :wink.gif:
Also maybe a pair of scissors to trim the plant:
