Maybe, IDK? We have other things that would come before that.

    ---

And no, the Field isn't just "Plains with freaking roses." Plains have more yellow grass, sunflowers, and dandelions. The Field is a more green color, with only roses, bushes, and sections of trees.

I design the biomes how I want them. If I end up not liking it, I'll change it. Go make your own biome mod if you want the biomes to be exactly how you want them to.

How about you compromise with your fans and at least give us an option to config the old one in? Whether you like it or not is one thing, but some of us preferred the old one, and probably few of us have the ability to make our own mod.

posted a message on Minecon Tickets Announced!
The way they do this is just ridiculous, the price is too high for a Con to begin with isn't it? E3, Pax, Comicon, they don't cost this much do they? There are how many millions of people that own Minecraft, and all they are going to allow to attend is 7500 people?

It's just the dumbest thing I've ever seen them do. I'll bet they could rent a big place, charge $25-30 a head and get 20-30,000 people show up in the 2 days. Instead, they charge way too much and it ends up being mostly youtube celebs able to attend, with a tiny portion of their fanbase (of millions of subscribers) able to actually meet their idols.

posted a message on Compressed air, cleaning pc
There is a great risk of static build-up in the use of a vacuum cleaner, which is not good for sensitive circuit boards if you happen to discharge the electricity into one. I've fixed several PC's that someone had vacuumed, and I strongly recommend just blowing it out.

Compressed air is a lot cheaper than a new motherboard.

Didn't know that opinions with proof that almost count as facts is hate and butthurt.

Ah, there you go, it's MY opinion that you and your 2000+ followers are just hating on Mojang for not bending to your will. I even saw suggestions that Jeb should be fired, and I would be willing to bet someone said some pretty ugly things about Notch in there too, because that's the kind of people you are, so don't tell me it's all rainbows and unicorns in there.

You called me a Mojang fanboy earlier, and I do believe I am. They have created a fantastic game that is more or less enjoyed the way it is by millions of people. If you hate them that much, then why don't you just leave the game and go play something else? I get so tired of all the negativity towards them and Minecraft, and reading some of your posts, that's all you're about, you seem to be obsessed with getting the terrain changed. Give it a rest.

    Have a nice day.

Jeb was complaining that every time he hits the terrain generators that it is the one thing he is guaranteed to catch a whole bunch of flak from the player community. I suppose he is right about that too, although I'd like to see decent beaches again. Mainly Jeb was saying that tweaking terrain generators was very nearly the last thing he cares to get into now... and suggesting that if one of the other developers want to be brave they can take over that aspect of the game.

The problem is that each time he touches the terrain generator, it also impacts the seeds... and there definitely is a part of the player community that loves their seeds and sharing them... or getting pissed when their seed no longer generates the awesome features they thought they had.

    Quote from ChaosGuardian

I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't mind giving up current seeds to have more variety within every world. Right now, each seed is kind of monotonous.

He's making more of a negative impact by not doing anything about it.

I think that anyone that complains about the current terrain is just being a whiny douche. I've been playing for a year and a half, and I love every single time they change terrain generation, because it keeps the game fresh and interesting. I don't understand people who want the game to stagnate and never advance or add features.

I'm of the opinion that if you want to play the old generation, there are plenty of mods and utilities out there that will let you do that, so people need to STFU and stop giving Jeb grief about trying new things.

When I first got this mod, I loved it. I used it over and over again. But, after a while I felt Minecraft was getting boring for me. I realized it was because I didn't do any of the Survival aspects anymore. Sorry, but I won't use this anymore, it's too much of a cheat in my opinion.

Why do you feel the need to tell everyone that? No one cares if you use it or not.

posted a message on My 1.25 Legit Survival World UPDATED 15, July
I've pretty much been building in the same world since 1.25 came out, and have kind of gotten builder's block the past week or so. I'm not sure if I want to continue to build things, or wait until 1.3 comes out and start over.

But anyway, here's some of what I have built. BTW, in case you are wondering, Jamziboy on Youtube is my building inspiration, he makes houses that are simply amazing and can easily be built legit.

I built this stuff with Johnsmith TP, but was trying out Steelfeather's Enchanted Pack when I took these shots. I was suprised that it still looks pretty good with such a different texture pack.

The main house is on the right, and the potion/enchanting shop is on the left.

The cow barn (my main source of food), with the colored sheep wool farm in the background.

    A simple farm.

Nice little bridge across to the jungle.

Nether portal and minecart to the zombie xp farm.

This is a treehouse I lived in when I first started this world.

    Mah cozy bed.

An overview of the main building area.

Okay, switched to Johnsmith for the rest.

Here is a picture of the Blaze spawner XP farm.

Not much to look at really, but here's some of the wiring that makes it work. Thanks to Monkeyfarm for the design.

Nether wart farm near the blaze grinder.

The ride out to the Enderman XP farm.

Might be kind of hard to see unless you blow it up, but the thing is massive.

    Enderman falling on the inside.

The machine set to kill mode. Thanks Docm77 for the tutorial on this.

Ready to one-shot kill these guys.

I built an enchanting table here so I didn't have to make the long trek back to home every time I got to level 50. This one is by far the most efficient of all of the different mob XP farms, I can enchant like 6 or 7 things in about an hour. Of course, it's also obscenely difficult to build legit, and very resource heavy.

Update 15, July. I decided to try to make an underground walled garden, and this what I have come up with so far. I didn't do any of this legit, though, I used WorldEdit to hollow out the cave and then turn it into a grassy cavern. I then used Creative mode to give me the different kinds of stonebrick since the only way you can get it is by dismantling a stronghold, and I really wanted to leave the one I have found in this world in one piece. (I took enough already to build the portal room!) I did design the gatehouse by hand though, and then copied it to make one on the other side of the cavern. I didn't realize that the void fog was going to end up making it hard to see in there until I switched back to survival. *sigh* Live and learn.
