Adventure mode is generally well meant for adventure aka adventure maps! the new inclusion is to give adventure map makers more control over their environment, If you found some kind of survival challenge thats interesting but thats not the main function. Maybe they could have both systems? I don't see why not.

I am looking for a nice seed to use for building a fantasy world, I want one that for sure has an ice plain/messa. If you had a seed that even had one of those I would greatly appreciate it +cords of their location. thank you.

Eh I might consider helping a bit as a builder. I have experience with WorldEdit so if you have bukkit I can work with that. I actually have built a spacestation before which very unfortunately I have no pictures of. I am not used to building space things but I am sure I can adjust.

I am on US central time as well so that shouldn't be an issue.

If you tested that the stained glass didn't make a difference in the lag, then your client is probably loading terrain or loading something else. Try lowering your render distance to "Tiny" or "Short" and see if that helps. This usual increases my FPS no matter what.

It's at the lowest setting and it does not help, I knew to do that already. :/

Okay so I started to work on a medium sized castle in minecraft 1.7.2 using a lot of the new stained glass. This is great and all but unfortunately after I got a lot done it started suffering *massive* amounts of lag like barely playable. Weirdly like inside the castle the lag was bad but outside it was not as bad. A friend suggested it might be due to the transparent stained glass so I made a quick texture pack without transparent glass so I could finish the thing and it helped a little outside of the castle but inside the lag is still very high. 1.7.2 is a little laggy for me normally but never this bad, like I have played on other servers and maps in 1.7.2 without too much issue (though there is more lag than usual). It's also not really size because I have made stuff larger before with no lag.

I don't know whats wrong but this is making me so mad because I want to finish it. I am waiting for optifine to come out so I could possibly help but its not out yet and who knows when it will be.

Any suggestions?

People are always going to pirate or illegally modify games thats just how it goes. Mojang doesn't have to cater to people who cannot afford it. They made a product and want money for their work and thats fair. Considering also you only have to pay once to get the entire set of features AND future updates I think the price is worth. 30 bucks is not that much to ask for a video game either. I want mojang to be compensated so they can continue to make awesome games and content.

Yeah I have to agree, I have been friends with mostly women and I have developed feelings for only like one of them (which was very short lived). One of my closest friends now is a woman and I am in no way or shape attracted to them romantically or sexually. Actually I have thought about it like as a "what if we dated" and I was super uncomfortable and weirded out by the idea. A lot of people have demonstrated in this thread that they can be close friends with people of the opposite gender without romance. I think that alone just shows that it is possible and is definitely not unheard of. I also want to remind people that some people are gay so this isn't like some huge struggle for everyone lol.

I can't see how adventure time/mlp is not on here because one of those would be my choice.

I hated spongebob as a kid with a burning passion, I thought he was the uggliest effer ever. Now I don't care but its still kinda funny how much I hated him lol.

I liked so much stuff as a kid but now I probably won't think they are good.

Anyway I don't know I mean its not a terrible idea but its not that great either. How long would the silence last? Forever until you picked the block up? Only for a set amount of time? I don't mean to be that guy but this seems really useless since the best solution is just to turn off your sound if its that annoying. Besides I don't think we need more items that only have one real use which barely impacts the game. Maybe if it had more uses I wouldn't mind but just to silence "noisey" blocks seems really dumb.

If I remember notch said that he wanted to make it so that you knew it was your fault when they attacked you. Basically also it goes by horror logic, when you think *if I don't look at it it won't hurt me* but then its so tempting you do and meet your demise. Since endermen are based on slenderman it makes sense they would follow horror logic.

Well I have tried various things I have tried just doing
/summon zombie ~ ~ ~
/summon zombie
and then using an actual coordinates all with the same results. Also I tried to use the entity id number since I thought maybe I was mispelling? still no luck. I have tried summoning a skeleton and slime too I believe.

EDIT: Omg I realized why it would not work.....I efing forge to capitalize the first letter (facepalms self so hard)

Forgive me if this is the wrong forum, I know its a technical issue but I figure its more likely someone who knows about the recent snapshots can help.

I couldn't use it when the first snapshot came out, I assumed it was some bug so I didn't pay attention to it but 2 main snapshots alter I still cannot use it.

When I try to do it I get "unable to summon object" in the chat. I have tried both the summoning command and using a command block. Both have the same result and same text appearing in the textbox.

I have literally never seen anyone else have this issue its frustrating me to no end because I want to play around with it. I have turned on normal mode so its not that its on peaceful. Anyone have any ideas or the same problem?
