    posted a message on Biomes O' Plenty - Over 50 new biomes, with new trees, plants, mobs, and more!
    Some suggestions:
    • Perhaps some mobs, if you know how to do that? I'd even be willing to provide textures if you want. Currently, the terrain generation and biomes are excellent but from what I've experienced so far, a lot of them just don't have any mobs at all, which can make things seem pretty dead. (Which is okay for the Wasteland, not so much for the Savanna..) . Some nice mobs could be Yaks, Goats, Alligators, Frogs, Gnomes (for meadows), Lions, Wildebeasts..
    • Hay blocks? Maybe try to decrease the amount of blocks you're using- I understand the point of most of them, but as it is it's hard to run any other mods with this mod (I consider this mod a necessity) due to the amount of blocks it takes up.
    • If it's possible, maybe add some structures? Little ruined shacks, barns, graveyards, odd stone formations (Stone Henge?)
    • Overgrown forests: Tight tree clumps that are spaced apart. Most of the ground is leaves. Occasional muddy ponds. Lots of vines. Trees have very large roots that form arches and "bridges". Logs sticking up in the air.

    Guy. There's just one guy working on Mo Creatures, as far as I know.

    Though I suppose unlike Notch, he is not obligated to take vacations from his vacations, so I guess he has more time to actually produce content.

    I found one compatability issue: Because it replaces the default mobs, mods like "chicken gliding" don't work. They don't cause any crashes, but since the chickens are technically completely different, you can't glide with them any more.

    Any chance that the two mods could get combined?

    (Oh, and when an animal is following you when you have the shepherd's rod out, their head jitters like crazy.)

    If you try to use this mod with the hang glider mod, it'll crash your game whenever you try to enter the hang glider.

    Something to do with ig.class, I think. I'm not sure.

    Um, no neither would be good, not all minecraftians are fighters, some are builders, and some are miners [hence the name MINEcraft...]

    Ya, if ya play on anything other than peaceful, your bound to do SOME fighting, but forcing a player to do so would be wrong, Notch added peaceful, there was a reason for it, not everyone wants to fight, and notch made a way for the people who don't want to fight to still enjoy the game, i myself play on easy during building/mining, normal all other times, but that doesn't mean a different person, who loves to building and explore, would do the same. ya, maybe make collecting artifacts spawn more, or different creatures, but only if you not playing on peaceful (All ya would have to do is make them aggresive, and problem solved, they won't spawn on peaceful) and putting them in a double dungeon? i mean seriously, maybe have one creature spawn, a bit stronger than normal for SOME of the artifacts, ya i agree, those who like fighting should be able to fight, of course. eh, time to start decompiling ALL of the .classes, as i have no clue which one deals with map gen....

    EDIT: But i DO agree with you completely on the four blocks of diamonds for the Artifact Radar Pulser-Thingy. [Maybe Artifact Pulsar?]


    Did you even read the quote in the image he posted? He's aiming for something Nethack-esque, where actually beating the game is a long and difficult task that takes ages and is brutally difficult. Something very few people will accomplish.

    (Also, it's pretty obvious monsters would still not spawn on Peaceful even after collecting 9 artifacts. You would be a pansy, though.)

    Furthermore, why the hell would you not guard the artifact with a buttload of mobs?

    Or something. It's crashing every time I try to ride it, but there was one time when it went in to the air particularly high and I was able to ride it for a few seconds before plummeting to the ground and crashing.

    Are corruption blocks supposed to spawn on already-generated parts of the world? (Not-nether)

    I was surprised to see that several patches of my map are now covered in Netherrack.

    There is a fix for Modloader that Shockah released a while ago that seems to fix this issue as well. I can't provide a link but I know that it's in the Modloader thread somewhere.
