So all of you know the villager in Minecraft. An AI that lives in villages and makes those annoying little sounds. Man, all of them look the same! I think the developers of Minecraft should create more differences, and maybe, just maybe chat with them. Here's the idea, somehow program the villagers so whenever one is created it is randomly picked from a list of emotions. So then maybe you can chat with them, socialize and etc. For example, it will be easier to kill a happy villager than an aggressive one but the aggressive one would probably drop weapons rather than seeds when you kill them. I know this is EXTREMELY difficult to program but it would, in my opinion, greatly enhance the Minecraft experience. Same goes for jobs for the villager. (by the way this is my first post so please correct me if I'm doing something wrong)
Leave your opinion on this matter
Also I heard that they will improve villager diversity so that there will be different villagers.

Ruby, Fire opal and a made up mineral. Preferably using my avatar as the texture.
Those are the ORES I'd like most.
Mercury and oil are minerals I'd like.
That's just fine. But asking for ores without giving an actual use isn't useful at all. It's like saying "add stuff!". What do you want ruby for? Fire Opal, why? Just because you like them isn't good enough. And oil... what's it going to be used for? We already have in redstone a power source. And Mercury!? I don't even...
I don't want any of that crap. Ores are fine as it is. They need to work about and around the existing blocks and be imaginative about their uses. More uses to existing game elements trumps new game elements with limited or no use at all. In other words, we need high-level additions to Minecraft that allow us to truly expand the gameplay. It's been mods like Better Than Wolves, Red Power and others than have been the only real contributor in this area. Mojang throughput has been frankly disappointing pretty much since after pistons were added to the game. I'd like for that to change for once. -

Rasah posted a message on New Ores and Caves 1.8 and BEYOND!I know many players enjoy the swisscheese caves but I hope they make the cave system more structured and adventurous instead of random slop (same goes for the Nether, it's just a jumbled mess).Posted in: Future Updates
Can't wait to hear more. I just hope the 1.8 update doesn't delay Optifine as much as 1.7... -

Divinius posted a message on They are messing up enchanting in 1.8Posted in: Future Updates
I read the proposed enchanting changes too. I see what they are trying to do, and I can pretty much guarantee that there's going to be a lot more than "one" complainer.
I understand basically why they want to alter the system, but I'm not sure they are going about it the best way. Sure, the fan-boys are going to defend whatever changes they implement, regardless, since that's just what they do. But I bet the changes annoy a LOT of people.
Personally, I don't have an opinion yet. Way to early to judge. I'll wait and see exactly what they end up doing, and decide then if I think the changes were an improvement or not. -

My name is... well... rather close to me.
Ever since i was little, i always want to be the best.ALWAYS.Each time i dont i just run feom whatever the situation is.Ever since last 2 years i played alone.Singleplayer all day, everyday.you could probably tell i didnt have a lot of friends then.moving schools 2 times doesnt help much either. So one of my "friends" kept on talking on and on ad on about playing on servers. That time i didnt know anything on multiplayer.so that time my name was only well, my real life name.So i thought about creating a username.i googled things that souned cool and what it actually meant. Until oneday i was searching for a top 10 list of pokemon.Arceus is always number 1. The more i read about it i knew it was the strongest ,the "god" pokemon.so was only Arceus for a while on servers.Until i had some troubled times.going through them was hard.i thought to myself maybe im just THAT strong to be able to go on in life.so
came up with Alpha. The first,The strongest. After playing on many servers alot of people know me.A lot. Everytime i see people i dont even know they just go HEY its alpha!Things sound right from then on.im at the peak of mt.Happiness.Now,well...I dont know what happens after this.
Apparently you ran from grammar class. -

And don't get confused about "1.7.3" mods that are for a beta of the same version number 2 years ago, The funny thing is that I knew this would happen approximately 2 years ago -

See? Proves my point. Most people don't want villager A.I. updated for some odd reason.
I don't understand how people can NOT want these little walking squids to be fixed. They don't do anything, the trade system is ridiculous, and they are broken for what they ARE supposed to do. - To post a comment, please login.

Anyway, I often can't resist saying "Gee, I love this server." It's great, the mods/admins are (mostly) fair (*looks at Shadow charging some guy that is building his house way out in the forest
