Hey, I just fixed mine today. What you need to do is make sure you don't have any spyware, specifically keyloggers or keystroke recorders in your system. THEN, you need to download AND INSTALL a newer version of LWJGL. Minecraft doesn't download with the updated versions. I used the 2.8.0 version, and all works great now.
BTW, I have Windows XP Home 32 bit and 1 gig of RAM. (and YES, MC runs great!)

Your FPS might be the issue. Low FPS can indicate that Minecraft is struggling, and this often leads to delayed input.
It may also be that if you're running from a browser like Firefox, there is a new update that kills performance, called Plugin Manager or something like that. You can uninstall it or just kill the process with task manager (with windows).
Well, shoot. It worked fine for my first launch, but after that, it stopped and was sticking again. It's probably the LWJGL, because that is the utility that Mojang uses to help the input, sound, and music. Just keep trying different versions of LWJGL until it works.
does blackscreen count as a crash? enyhow, it didn't give an error screen. just after I installed the GUIAPI and ID resolver. I have a bunch of mods installed.
What are all the 0s and #s for? and i agree, there could be a wireframe around chunks (i'm a noob) but i think it is more helpful to provide a map of slime chunks.
If you could recommend a software to create a GUI, that would be excellent. My current plan is to make a proper installer for a software package - 3 files: One for a recoded RAM tool, one for an external application, which is the GUI and saves your settings, and the last is the file that data is written to (your current username, amount of RAM, java version).

Hey Minecraft people! I have a question- What do you do when your GUI scale wont do anything? My friend was playing, and he hit a button. it was F8 (smooth scroll) and something else (I think). Now my GUI scale is off, and I toggle it and nothing on the display changes. :angry.gif: CAN ANYONE HELP ME?!?!?!?
