posted a message on Why can't I play on Minecraft versions 1.2.3 or 1.2.5?
It may be an issue with the file itself. Try deleting the version folder and redownloading it. Delete meta-inf after that works, because it may be meta-inf thats causing the problem.

Hello ambient! This mod is really great, and a supportive author! I have always been worried about mods that may end up cheaty, but this one had a long running reputation, so I let it slide. So far the 1.8 version works well, but occasionally it blacks out, normally when you face perfectly towards a cardinal direction. I originally intended to use this as a spread sheet cover for a silly report (Real life mineral mixing, and minecraft ore spawns), but it has so many other uses! It's very beautiful to see and can show various distributions! This is outstanding, and well worth the look see if no ones tried it.

Hello, what a nice mod you have! I am having some trouble with mods, but I will keep this tabbed because it's awesome. I recomennd you say what kinds of loot you can get, and maybe a more descriptive basic description (Wow that sounds real smart lol).

posted a message on How do I create a plugin or mod?
First off, if there was, then so many coding books would run out of buisness. Not wanting to learn is understandable, but thats like asking to get something for doing nothing. Think about the EE2 developer, Pahimar. He had to learn, and he did, so he created an epic, working mod, and is now loved by the modding community. Now the actuall question is, how to make one. Pahimar also has a set of vdeos basically explaining the structure, and you just need to fill in the blanks with code. Just get a book and read it one hour everyday, and I'm sure you'll get the hang of it.

posted a message on Help creating a small randomizer
I'm creating a map where you dig through sand and it adds to your money. I've recently wanted to implement a casino that simply gives you more money, or otherwise some other way to get cash. I wish that it could give between 0-1000 dollars, in no apparent rarity. If anyone has even a slight way to randomize what you get, please do tell, or send a link to a tutorial etc. I;ve tried making some kinds of randomisers, but those are simply redstone burnout clocks that are unreliable, and may cause extensive lag if I build multiple slot machines to simulate an actual casino. Hoipe someone responds

Hi their helper! I have typed this command: /clone -25 64 -580 -16 70 -572 -19 63 -586 And it says that my two areas are over lapping, when they clearly aren't. If you have any information, or need any clarification on what I'm doing, please right down below!

posted a message on Piston Miner Challenge (no command blocks)
With command blocks it may be possible, but otherwise not exactly. Judging by how things are going with u[dates, it doesn;t seem like mojang enjoys all the automation going into minecraft. Sure their are some kinda cheaty ways to get your rares, like with withers, but if you want automation for mining, just get BC and EE2 (or tekkit) And BLAM!!! automation and cheaty schemes all around.

posted a message on Command block variables: Command blocks need variables, their difficult otheriwse!
    Quote from DarkStar634

Though I believe command blocks could benefit from variables, you have suggested it in an extremely appalling way. How would we even define variables?

Also, all the things you have listed are already possible. This is probably also redundant. All I see here is somebody complaining about command blocks, and not actually suggesting anything.
Well if commands, I find, are often used with variabes. Testfor could be used for the vaiables. I suppose you could store the variables to the world folder, or the server data. I can't quite understand your second claim, as people who complain about command blocks are suggesting a change. I, per say, am suggesting the capability fr variables. Sure you can do this with a scoreboard as a variable, but a predefined variable structure is much more helpful.

Honestly, whoever is coding commandblocks needs a whack upside the head and some coffee! where are the variables! You know, S == Super_long_command! If I have a repeating command, let me use a variable! plus it'll allow random number generators, and a simpler way to make a changing sentence depending on how many times you;ve been their! We need variables! You use them, I use them, we all use them! SO LET us use them! GAHHHHH
