on another note, is it possible to check to see how smart adder added your mod?
what if the mod installed wierd?
sorry for the lack of replies recently, i am busy with christmas as well as the previously mentioned college project :unsure.gif:
to check the state of all your mods (not limited to smart mods), you could travel to appdata\omnitool\mods for a list of the mods you currently have, the directory structure should be quite self explanatory
oh nice, makes alot of sense, also have you thought about a server manager for the omni tool?
basicly, just a normal server... with the ability to mod it, and also it comes with allocation of ram, and the basic settings..
haha so annoying when you install a mod that does not work right with your server.. and you have no backups..
mabye ill just make backups..
just some ideas!!
can do
but i just dont have the time for it, i am currently dealing with college business and i might as well say my whole life depends on it...
haha, I remember a few of his programs doing this to me, norton is known to be somewhat over protective.. still good though.. if it is giving you issues, simply tell it to exclude the files from scanning or so forth....
Hope I helped!!!!
Now off to add redpower and minecraft forge!! lolol
oh hey, I know a friend who is really really good at c++.. kinda.. he creates plugins for terrarias server software, if you use c++ want me to see if he can help you?
:biggrin.gif:?
hey there, glad that you are enjoying the tool :tongue.gif:
its unfortunate that i am only looking for visual basic.net developers :sad.gif:
My guess is that there's a config file created or added to whenever you input server information. You need to find this file and make a copy of it it when you're making changes to Omni-Tool. After you've made those changes you need to hand-restore your config files.
A current weakness of Omni-Tool is that it deletes everything, including config files, when you ask it to make changes. TLB has said that perhaps he'll change the way this works in the future.
thank you the.celt! is it just me or did you remade the account?
a major problem im having is everytime i change something i loose all my servers
oh i see that this must be a minecraft 1.9+ issue, for now there are no temporary fixes as i am currently very busy with another project (college related aka more important)
Does it extract the mods from the zip files everytime I change the order or something?
Why not make it extract once into a folder that contains the mod files permanently?
it does not extract the mods every time, it does extract all the mods into a folder

or use it as cool lighting source

next time when you fell in love with someone and wants her, dont befriend them first, tell them you love them first
or else you will just be a good friend, not a good boyfriend

everytime when you press "apply changes" the tool rebuilds minecraft from a fresh copy with the enabled mods

i think what we really need is a "nexus" for minecraft
something similar to skyrim nexus, fallout 3 nexus or fallout new vegas nexus would be nice

dont read it if you dont like it, no one is holding your head in front of the screen with pliers plying your eyes open to force you to read his posts.
i for one find capitalisation annoying and unnecessary and i wont even go into telling you the difference between "your" and "you're".

do you happen to use norton as your anti virus?
norton is known to misjudge tons of indie programs such as this one
