Apr 4, 2012Posted in: Minecraft Modsany chance of native HD texture support?
from the looks of it, Mojang will make infinite sprites incorporated into the game. since HD patchers exist, i don't see a problem with them including it in the game anyway

Just cut the crap though: You just hated forge.
Eloraam and Flowerchild have an inherent design incompatibility. It's like... fire and water.

I don't care. I am not reading 500 pages to find an answer.
do you still live in the 20th century or something?
Why did someone invent google? why is that person a billionaire?
Mar 30, 2012Posted in: Minecraft ModsI only have one complaint: I still haven't reveived my wolf rinds.
they're well hidden. but since i'm in a nice mood:
cook a piece of Wolf Chop with 12 pieces of hellfire in a stoked cauldron.
i'm a big fan of them, they satisfy hunger like crazy.
and I can't honestly think of any tie in between it's 'Zomg I mined out sum neclar rocks' theme and BTWs 'Zomg torturing teh soulz of teh damnd' theme.
a bit of a late reply, but whatever.
IC has a VASTLY different approach to things. it has it's internal tech-tree, sure. but it's about producing blocks. producing a block to ground down ore, a block to smelt ore, a block to produce electricity from fuel, electricity from sunlight, water, etc.
it's a mod of blocks, with an internal function.
BTW is about using blocks to build entire machines. what IC crams into one block, is a huge device to BTW'ers. i can understand some people like to use BC and IC to make factories. i did so myself. but it is not nearly as satisfying to me as BTW.

Battosay put together this excellent video highlighting the changes in the last few releases, and since he seems to have an aversion to self-promotion, I thought I'd pass it along
"because flowerchild works too much"

Hehe...and also in reference to last night's conversation, this is the response I infinitely prefer
with those update requests and your general attitude towards them, yea, it was kind of unexpected.

Yeah it works
Thanks for the help guys and sorry for my stupidity.
I'm actually all right at applying mods its just sometimes I can make stupid mistakes like that
for future reference:
putting the thing in spoilers does make it a whole lot nice on the eyes. other than that, you're superior to about 60% of the forum users here.
Mar 19, 2012Posted in: Minecraft ModsBTW Multiplayer will likely be typified by siege engines, explosives, and people running around frantically in bondage gear man. It is not my intention to orient it towards creative play.
Where you see "griefing", I see "strategic elimination of enemy assets".
ha ha, i laughed while imagining BTW multiplay.
but yea, if Battosay got into that war, he'd build an automatic siege engine, as well as adding protection to his base using lens-powered fire- and explosion fences. plus a huge scoreboard.
and the Lens allows for a whole new generation of PVP traps.

why would they? minecraft is making a ton of money not just via the regular sales, but also by merchandise like those dolls and crap. You can expect them to pull off a "facebook buys oculus rift". People scream, company keeps things the same and months later nobody cares

As if something like that is even enforceable in a court.
uhm? of course this is enforceable in court. It says you can't make money off of other people's property. whatever way you spin this, payservers violate this.

It's a secret... because Macs don't get viruses ;-) Google it
Because Linux does not get them either. Because, like, 99.95% of all people use.....Windows(like me).
It's also why people invented....proper Antivirus software. And unlike most of the current generation, i'm willing to pay to never have to bother about clicking a link or downloading malware. if it's malware, my Kaspersky kicks it out long before it says "Download: 1%".
