yea they would freak out when they see a BTW world.

"this space is entirely dedicated to a wheat farm"
"but.. but.. there was a desert here!"
"this space is entirely dedicated to mudering squid"
"THIS WAS AN OCEAN WITH 51 ENDANGERED SPECIES!"

    Small bug here:

A block dispenser places all logs in the correct orientation except Bloodwood.

    Just checking:

Block dispensers should free Silverfish from their "monster" blocks right (when picking a Monster block up, a Silverfish should spawn)?

Now if only they would find it.

Yea, typically the people that need it belong to that group that doesn't read even the last post, the thread title, the OP, doesn't know what crtl-F does or what a search function is.

    Fantastic mod :) , but i want sleep on minecraft :( .

Steve doesn't sleep. That would just be unrealistic.

We already sleep some 8 hours a day. I dont understand that people wanna do it in the games they play too.

Sorry if this have been asked, but have you thought about making the brightness so that's it's always on "moody?" It's a small change that will affect the game a lot because it will require players to always put down torches (or a burning furnace) every time they go in the dark.

i think this will screw the people who don't have very bright screens.

    Just wondering,

Wolves lure the player in a false sense of security. If you keep them happy they know you don't suspect a thing but if you treat them to their true nature, they'll drop the disguise.

Also, giving them meat of the fallen-then-resurrected-then-fallen-again dead might have adverse effects on their health.

I received it on stone tablets. The nine other ideas that came along with it weren't quite as good and never made it into the mod.

Did you have to like, meditate on top of a mountain for them or was it the mailman who brought them?

Yeah, I may have been a bit critical there, but I'm just trying to help. I did find an issue in the changelog once, and though they generally just copy over from the readme, they occasionally add "secret features" to the list a few weeks after the release. You're right in that quality doesn't mean quantity/strength, but many of the pages contain errors/contain broken links/are very outdated.

In the past few weeks Flowerchild has overhauled numerous mechanics. Added stuff is easy to document. Changing stuff is a lot of work. I suspect that the wiki isn't being that updated now for another reason: we're kind of in the middle of an early game rebalance and a lot of stuff is still changing. I think it's better to wait with huge overhauls until that's completely done.

If someone could direct me to some tips to deal with food issues, I'd be glad.

    It's simple:

forget how vanilla works and go with your gut.

It should only break in ~3 swings if you spam it. You should be able to kill several cows with it before it breaks and each cow takes 3 hits to kill. Critical hits kill even faster.

Sorry if the hyperbole caused any confusion. When i use axes to kill stuff it definitely feels like 3 swings. WIth the new durability of stone pickaxes, it just feels like i have to do a ton of work for my porkchop. I find digging a hole and punching them is a far more food- and material-efficient way.

I reserve my axes for mobs & trees.

Making a stone axe before doing any hunting and just using that is usually enough. Unless of course the user has really bad aim.

I hate it that the axes break in like 3 swings. So yea, i just punch them to death. Although, havent tried hardcore fisting yet so that might change the experience.

Still trying to kill animals with your fists. huh? you need to craft a weapon then hunt for food

I found that crafting a shovel, digging a hole beneath the animal and then killing it in the hole is a very food efficient way to kill animals.

To me it feels really cheaty. I'm down a giant ravine mining stuff, and I don't actually have to build my way up or do anything, just climb a waterfall and I'm back up.

Walling off the enemies would now take much more pre-planning, like leaving proper barricades behind you and escape routes. I'm not saying building should take long, I'm saying it should not be all instant.

1: While i think the idea isn't bad, i think this would lead to gamebreaking situations with water. It doesnt distinguish between waterfalls and just regular flowing water.

2: i think this just discourages building in general and has way more impact on the normal side of things than the combat things.
