Your Character's Background (Roleplaying)(5 Sent. Min.): My name is Jonathan Brattle I ran a farm in the village. I was around 16 year's old when I started, because my Mother and Father died. My Mother was always good to me if I ever hurt myself she always encouraged me to go at a get at it again. My Father was a strong type who never really did any of the thing's my Mother did but he was always there to teach me or to keep me safe. I had kept to myself after the incident because everyone wanted to know how was I holding up or something similar. I hadn't been good at farming at all and ran out of business, so I joined a mercenary group. I loved what I did when I was with the mercenary's as long as you didn't mess up you were fine. Then The Plague happen, we started to get some unnatural mission's like helping people cross to the safe place. I just blew off the entire thing it didn't seem like anything would happen to us. Then one day my good friend Mark Bigge started to turn against us and next thing I knew I was fighting for my life. I got to the safe place after a good hour of running and started to survive with the fellow people who hadn't been infected. Yet.

If you read any of notch/jeb's tweets you will hear how they started up mine craft and they made sure it is playable and try to fix as many bug's as possible, before the release date which is why we get delayed updates. Any additional testing is only reasonable for us to do.
Let me tell you have the way's of some programming get to be.
Step One. Release a game.
Step Two. Bug fix till your done.
Step Three. Gain Community.
Step Four.Community demands for more updates than you use to be putting out
Step Five. No time for major bug testing.
Step Six.Complaints about bug's
Step Seven.Get headache from Not well thought out responses toward your creation.

I'm going to go ahead and guess that you aren't involved in software development.
I am pretty sure that they do not just walk around that would not Bug Test at all and it is common sense to not do that whenever there is a announcement where they say it, you also cannot know they do a large amount of testing.

True testing requires building unit tests for your functions and testing all possible situations. First that requires you to sit and think through all the situations that can occur
it is there job to produce a game for you to test that is playable, some situation's where bugs are don't do anything except people who do special thing's in the game that is not done by the medium of the people play the game.

If I released the mod I work on which we also call a beta in as buggy of a state that they sometime release it in we would have no players. I guess once you pay for something you feel obligated not to throw the money down the toilet.
